Just started here, and have already noticed a world of difference, quite positively, from the previous credit union I was at. Certain banking policies and procedures here are much more in favor of customers and easier to manage (in my experience at least), and every time I visit this branch the staff are always really friendly, and willing to help. Thus far, VERY happy banking here

      Response from the owner

Joseph, Thank you very much for the kind words. We're glad you've had a positive experience thus far. Thank you for trusting us with your finances and for being a member!

⚠️⚠️⚠️HORRIBLE 🚧🚧🚧 Dont come here until NOV 2022 Wasted over an hour of my life tryinf to get a cashiers check for FSCU member here. They are not actually FSCU Until Nov 2022. Until then, they will treat you as a share banking branch. There is no indication of this on their website. The branch further does not know how to help FSCU member. They wasted all thia time, I called FSCU corp, they said the branch is not doing the right thing, ONLY CORP can increase your limits. Long story short, an hour of my life, they could neither get me cash nor cashiers check so i could take care od my time sensitive business.

      Response from the owner

Hello Sync, Thank you for providing your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear about your frustration trying to get a cashier’s check and conduct other business with us. The Galleria branch recently became a part of First Service, providing an additional branch for our members to make many transactions. Until we complete our core systems conversion on November 1, some transactions – such as account updates - will not be available to members at the former People’s Trust branches. In the meantime, you can call our Contact Center or visit our Tunnels or Gulf Freeway branch to update account information. You can see more details about this and other FAQs on our website at: https://www.fscu.com/fscu-frequently-asked-questions We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We truly value your membership and hope you will give us a chance to take care of your future banking needs.

On yesterday my husband went into People's Trust to do a withdrawal, he had gone in several times before with no problems. He went in this time and there was an issue with the bank account number, he call me I spoke to the teller and gave her the information she needed in order to do the transaction.. My husband leaves the bank and later receives a call from them stating he could no longer come there and if he did they were going to call the police on him. I called and left a message with the for the Branch Manager to call me, she called and stated the Teller felt threatened. I do not feel the bank handled the misunderstanding very well, I truly believe if he would have been of a different race the situation would have been handled very differently.

This is far the worst company i have ever Loan with, its an annoying process to pay your loans... You can't do a normal pay to them if you don't own a Checking with them, you can't DO anything if you don't have an Account with them, the customer services SUCKS... They added almost 5k on my loan because they can't do their job properly saying i had no insurance on my car, i complained several times and sent everything they needed and always had an automated message saying my documents weren't in the proper PDF file which they were. Once they finally acknowledge that you sent their files they DON'T tell you if you need to send something else Unless you complain again. 4 times i had this issue so far. To set up a autopay it's a different process too... Your suppose to be a financial business and its an stupid process to be happy with them. You make your tickets and as soon as they respond you and you haven't finish they close the tickets saying its resolve... I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

If you want an account with a credit union I highly recommend Primeway. People's trust will charge 5 dollars for 10 days if your account is negative. Mind you I did not ask for overdraft. They charged me for forcing a automatic payment. There was an older Latino guy working at the member service area. He was rude and was not helpful at all. I recommend you take your money and your time elsewhere.

Absolute nightmare. Slow processing of charges, extremely long waits on a phone call, and careful collection of fraudulent overdraft fees are but a few of the reasons not to bank here. Another can simply be summed up as "Ivan Fuentes". The manager of this branch, his rudeness and incompetence act as a microcosm to the entire frustrating inefficiency of their system. Ivan Fuentes is everything you fear or dread in dealing with customer service. Extremely rude, dismissive, arrogant, lazy, incompetent, and worst of all, uncooperative. Ivan Fuentes is everything you hate in customer service. The kind of guy that actually frustrates you enough to want to write a review singling someone out for being such a colossal irresponsible expenditure of company funds on an undeserving employee. If People's Trust had any sense, they would fire Ivan Fuentes, hire someone with more than two functioning neurons to run their branch and not scare off new members (and possibly lose old ones), and rework their system so as to not cause processing and communication problems. Fees are processed sometimes a full week after they have been placed, their automated systems are cumbersome and unwieldy, and their personnel...well, I think I covered that. If you're a consumer reading this, pick ANOTHER bank. If People's Trust is reading this, this is what happens when you hire people like Ivan Fuentes.

I went here to make a loan payment, since my original loan banks is all the way by beltway 8 north and Fairbanks. I didn't know I could make my payments here, which is very convenience. Since this place is way closer. The service was exelent and fast!.

I went there and I applied for auto loan and they didn’t explain for me anything, after two days I gave them the Carfax for the vehicle so the representative asked the manager to come and talk to me and she said oh sorry we won’t able to give you the lone since you trying to buy salvage vehicle. I already told the rep the car is salvage title from day one, and she didn’t even know what the difference between salvage and clean and I explained that for here and still she didn’t tell me that. They waste my time and my money and they hit my credit score. Dont go there DONTTTTTTTTT.

The atm machines are never working. They have started to use the outside lanes as their personal parking spots! So now customers are force to go inside 🙄.

      Response from the owner

Hi Gilberto, Thanks for reaching out and we apologize for the inconvenience. You are correct that the drive-thru ATM is not working. We have it powered down and our employees park in that lane to keep people from trying use it. We currently have a new fleet of ATMs on order and it’s looking like we’ll have them installed by late spring or early summer. Thank you for your membership and again, we apologize for the inconvenience.
