  Friendly and helpful tellers...Shawn and Misti are the absolute best. Ifind them always helpful with a warm smile. Today was customer appreciation day with Jo's party house cupcakes muffins and sweet tea. Talk about icing on the cake. I also got a one time courtesy credit for an obvious error I made. I really appreciate the assistance.

  This branch is wonderful! Every time I go in I'm greeted with a smile! Megan Goodly recently helped me finance my first car and the experience couldn't have been easier. She walked me through every step of the way and communicated openly and thoroughly so there was no confusion. If you're looking for a credit union that makes you feel like you're a priority...look no further. I am proud to be a Pelican!

  Pelican credit Union is the best. Customer service is always top notch. the ladies at the local branch are always ready and willing to help. I recommend everybody coming to Pelican mostly for second chance banking.

  I have the greatest experience everytime I go. Ms. Shawn Chaisson is amazing. She always has a smile and works with every single challenge I have had! She has given me great advice and will walk every step with me until I'm completely satisfied! Between her and the gentleman that signed me up I dont see myself switching banks ever and I'm even recommending your branch to my closest friends! All I can say is Ms. Shawn is definately a GREAT ASSET to your company, I love seeing her face when I walk in! More importantly she knows EXACTLY who i am!!! I'm not just a number I'm a person to her! That's what I love about Pelican CU!

  A little background: We've been working a little over a year on preparing for a major purchase. Everything was in order: credit scores, income, DTI ratio at 7%. We were told by a finance manager that there was no way we would be denied and were advised to find a CU to get the best interest rate. We googled CU's and found this one. The lady who worked with us was exceptional, however we were denied because of a bizarre excuse of too many days off from work even though we proved how much $ we make in an entire year. We feel their decision was solely based on discrimination (we are an interracial couple). We certainly won't be recommending them.

  Found this credit union in the phone book after our credit union we have a ATV loan with said they would not do a Texas transfer. Pelican did it and took care of everything. Our loan officer Ericka, stayed through her lunch to take care of me & my loan. Very satisfied.

  Just left there after waiting almost an hour to speak to the branch manager concerning a job. She came out of her office with her purse and keys and told me she did not have time to speak with me. Very unprofessional of her! Also while waiting there was only one teller with a line of people waiting out the door. Could not believe what I was seeing. Upset customers. Not to mention there are no African American faces working at that perticular branch. That says a lot about the pelican state!!!!!

We are fairly busy the Friday before a holiday and on the first day of the month, and unfortunately we were not able to accommodate an interview at the time. Our branch manager Jackie was helping some of our other team members, and then had to step out to assist one of our business members for a pre-scheduled payroll deposit.   couldn't be more happy with the services they provide. Very professional and helpful. Would recommend them to anybody that is trying to establish credit without all the hassle of other companies policies.

  I love this branch! Jackie is a phenomenal manager and always is ready to assist when needed. Even though the branch is short staffed, they hold their own!
