  PayPal's customer service is so bad. Let's just say if I was responsible for implementing that system and policies, and I sucked at my job that bad, I would fire myself.

  Worst credit service ever. They’ll lower your limit for no reason and without warning, damaging your credit score even if you have a perfect payment history. You’re better off getting ANY service besides this trash.

  Use any other service, PayPal is the biggest waste of time I've ever had the displeasure of working with. I hope they rot. Nothing but holdups, restrictions and numerous calls from me to their customer service team, who I would say are really doing their best but cannot do much of anything to assist people because most if not all problems are with the system or are only accessible by higher ups. Worthless, just worthless site.

  Apparently PayPal thought it was okay to open a line of credit without me ever signing up for it, and then close it for inactivity and give my credit score a hit of 60 points. Even when I called them and explained to them I never opened any line of credit or approved it, they refused to do anything about it, and the parent bank they sold the accounts to also refuses to do anything about it. They claimed I had filled out credit application forms, yet were unable to produce any copies of said forms-- they said it wasn't their job to keep copies. Um.. yes, it literally IS. This shows that they cannot produce said documents, as they also know they do not exist. I even filed fraud disputes with major credit reporting agencies, and they are ALSO refusing to do anything about it. So beware, PayPal will just open lines of credit in your name and then close them and destroy your credit and there's nothing you can do. There are hundreds (if not thousands) of complaints about this all over the internet, so I will be waiting patiently for the class action lawsuit. They (PP and the bank) are also under investigation by the CFPB and a few other federal agencies because of this and other credit scams.

  I have not been able to see or access or use my cash back rewards. When I call in they say they can’t tell me or apply them to my balance and also say I have to wait for someone to call me back. I’ve called in on this issue twice in 8 weeks and no one will call me back!! I have asked to get a check sent to me for my cash back rewards. I have asked them to apply it to my balance . They will not do it. I keep going round and round with calls. The login website says there are technical difficulties and I can’t access rewards EVERY TIME I TRY TO ACCESS and no one will help me. I am totally fed up with this card and company and I strongly suggest that no one should ever get this card. Terrible customer service becuase totally unhelpful.

  I have a paypal mastercard and accidentaly sent too much in my last payment where i had a credit on my card now and the flatly refused to stop payment or transfer the overage back update -- to this day they haven't reimbursed me for the charge they charged me to transfer the money back

  BEWARE IF YOU'RE A VICTIM OF IDENTITY THEFT LIKE ME. PAYPAL CREDIT WON'T BELIEVE OR HELP YOU!!! My information was compromised because of the Equifax data breach and a thief used that information to open a PayPal Credit line in my name. I contacted PayPal immediately and provided thorough information, to include that the e-mail address and phone number on the account were not mine and traced to VT, not MD. I was assured they'd close the account and do a thorough investigation. Needless to say I called back 2 days later for some additional information needed for the police report only to be told they'd denied my fraud claim. Their reasoning - all of the account information "matched up." NO, it doesn't! Of course some of it did because my information was stolen!!! I will pursue other avenues to get the matter resolved. P.S. I would have given ZERO stars for the rating, which PayPal Credit deserves, but comments won't post without at least selecting at least one.

  When did PayPal go illegal? My son got a bill in August of 2018 for $657.31. He is slightly mentally challenged but when it comes to $$ he watches his like a hawk. He called Paypal he has had an account for a while, no problems. When he called about this charge to say this was not his charges they argued with him. The said yes you did. He would never do this. On top of that nothing has been delivered to our house. Nothing! But they will not tell him or send him an itemized bill. Why would we pay for something that they wont let us see? My son got irratated and the customer service person reacted with "You will pay this but you will never have access to PayPal for the rest of your life!" And hung up! So we received the latest bill that is now $756.04. So I called. The auto. Dialer would not accept his last 4 S.S.# or his birthdate, was sent to customer service. To make a long story short...by the time I got off the phone I had learned they have a different phone # AND a different Soc.Sec. # associated with the account, still refuse to give us a list of ordered items, and said "We can trac your computer id.!" And hung up on me!!!grrrr. This huge company must go down!! I have a charge on my account for $100 for a gift card to Victoria Secrets that I did not order. Wont give my money back either ....

  So first off when i switched my Bill Me Later to Paypal Credit it has been only a nightmare ever since. First off I cannot even logon to my account because of a problem on their end called Too Many Redirect Loops. So when I try to go to their site I cannot access anything. So what happened was one month I missed a payment because before I knew about this issue I thought I would go on their site to make the payment. I went on after they were already closed so I could not call anyone. I assumed I could just make a payment online later in the day. So since I was late because of that I sent them a check to make my account current. So when I sent the check at the time I had no idea they have two different departments... No one ever told me they had two different departments or else I would of never sent my check to them. So how am I suppose to know that what am I suppose to be psychic? So of course even tho I wrote down all the write information for my other account they ended up applying it to the wrong account. I did not find this out until I received a debt collect statement in the mail. All this time I thought I was fine and my account was current. The messed up thing is they are saying that I owe a minimum of $348 even tho my account is only over by $142. This is so wrong they are trying to charge me fees for their error that is not my fault. Of course if I would of known my account was not current I would of just payed over the phone. So I called Paypal multiple times to try to fix this issue and straight up they are acting like I am the one to blame for their mishap. They said "There was nothing they can do to fix this issue". So pretty much they are saying that they cannot even help me with something that should be fixed. Thanks for no help at all.... Bill Me Later has turned into a nightmare for me they have made so much money from me and because of their errors I now have to pay even more then I owe to a debt collector. They treated me like a piece of dirt and will not even attempt to help resolve my issue this how they treat someone that has been using their service for years and I have never missed a payment before.
