  Worst banking experience in for 40 years of existence. For a week now I have been trying to get my payoff letter from this bank. It should take an hour tops to fax this letter. I have now missed my closing date and incurred fee as a result. I have tried through email, phone call, my local branch and main headquarters to get the simple letter to no avail. I have filed a formal complaint against this Valley Bank. Do yourself a favor and avoid doing any business with this bank.

  If I could have gave 0 stars I would have; Requested a bank statement about 1 1/2 week ago and still have not received it. Tried calling and was placed on hold. Also left a message with my name and phone number and no one has gotten back to me. This BANK SUCKS!!

  The worst bank ever. THIEFS I have been an account holder 2 months and they rip me off over $500. I called and spoke to a branch stupid woman Erica who had totally 0 of knowledge what is she doing. Talking to manager was not possible. I called 25+ times to speak to someone but reach someone there is almost not possible. Till today didn't close my account - honestly they don't wanna return my money. Careful your money are not safe there. HORRIBLE

  The home of the "RE-FI FROM HELL". Avoid VNB and their come-on commercials. Months and months went by costing us $600 monthly at the old payment. (With a 1550 combined FICA score!) At the Re-Fi closing, VNB WOULDN'T CASH THEIR OWN CASHIERS CHECK for overpaid fees! Now a 3rd party insurance company they employ to shake down mortgage customers threatens us yearly for coverage we've maintained at this address for 12 years. AVOID THIS BANK. WE WISH WE DID.

  Horrible customer service. Had constant problems with online account access. Representatives were always nice and tried to be helpful but they could not fix what apparently is an ongoing IT issue. They supposedly forwarded my issue on, but after several months and repeated calls, I have never heard from any of the IT folks and the problems still exist. Closed the accounts.
