  MR.AKAU KEPT THE PENDANT; AND IS DEMANDING A REFUND. HE IS JUST EVIL. IN THE BEGINNING ,HE APPROVED THE MAKING OF THIS PENDANT; MADE US DO THE WORK, THEN MADE UNREASONABLE DEMANDS- NOW HE'S TRYING TO DEFAME US. HE'S NOT A GOOD PERSON TO BEGIN WITH. WE HELP 1000s OF OTHER PEOPLE WHO LOVE US!! THAT'S WHY WE HELD ON FOR 26 YEARS AND GROWING STRONG...

  I called this place a few times and was greeted by a kind and helpful representative who was patient and provided all the answers I needed prior to going to there store. Fast forward a day or two I finally have time to swing by to conduct some business and was pleasantly relieved to see that they have a locked door because a few of the pawn shops I’ve been to in the past didn’t and I felt vulnerable, to say the least. I was met with the same representative and she embodied all the friendly and warm customer service which I was expecting from my dealings with her over the phone. The business itself was conducted professionally with a casual vibe. At no point did I feel put off or uneasy about the whole store and dealing with them, and I felt that partially because I did my work ahead of time that my transaction with the shop was fair. I went in with the understanding that it’s Hawaii, everythings expensive and as a business; you need to stay afloat so I didn’t beat them up with the prices they offered me. In summary, I would recommend others to swing by and check it out.

  Wonderful service and a great product buy from a highly reputable business here in Hawaii! I purchased a beautiful Red Guitar from the owner. She was very kind, extremely knowledgeable and had the most upbeat personality! We're definitely coming back here!

  Excellent friendly service, I got a loan for some jewelry and I got it back at a fair interest rate...The lady is very helpful and nice...I also bought a beautiful chain; and it is working out just perfect for me, great deal thanks! I really like the Hawaiian displays too.

  This lady should not be trusted . She flat out ripped me off. She switched my brand new diamond tennis bracelet($500+ value) with a cheap repaired $99 at the most, bracelet Being that Im new to borrowing money by putting my bracelet down, she took advantage and ripped me off. The receipt was not a standard receipt which I only realized when I went to pay to get my bracelet back and she had switched it and denied it and off the bat wanted to fight. I have no reason to lie about this. Tthis really shocked me and has opened my eyes to be more cautious in the future.not to be so trusting. The only thing I got from doing business here was an inspiration for a story. Featuring a wicked dishonest cold bitter old pilau business lady .

You signed & agreed it was the same bracelet, but because you are jealous of a hard working beautiful lady ; you decided to do this malicious review. Like Sally, this incident did not even happen... It is so obvious that 3- women , at this same time, decided to go on this site & Yelp to make false accusations of incidents that didn't even happen. Melissa Chao & Nichole Directo are making all false allegations; why? They are probably competitors & friends that have nothing better to do than to go on these sites to try to make our business look bad. If we could all go to court; and they all show up, they would have nothing to show for evidence other than their lies. Its easy to sit behind a computer and put down lies...We HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS IN HAWAII FOR OVER 20 YEARS; WE TAKE CARE OF HUNDREDS OF CUSTOMERS, WHO ARE SATISFIED AND COME BACK. This is a very good & reputable business that would never lie too. This year , because we have Nichole's information we will be taking her to court for "DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER" , she will be charged because we refuse to sit back & not fight for 'JUSTICE"...She intended on hurting our business for her pleasure of telling lies & trying to put us out.

  The lady working here is very rude and thinks she is better then everyone els I bring in my wife’s necklace to have it repaired she ask me if I had money to repair it 3 times and said show me you have money before we repair it I know I did it not look my best that day but I work 2 jobs and I was passing by I thought I could just walk in and check if they can fix it she made me feel absolutely terribly i just walked out After that I will never be coming back again and I will be letting all my family know not to come Here God Bless you may you find peace in your black heart.

  GREAT SERVICE & SELECTION!! AWESOME PEOPLE!! If there’s any Negative Reviews, it’s because some customers are just evil...A fair price , smiles, professionalism is what I always get when I visit this shop...Dont listen to lies from sour customers who only want to cheat pawnshops .... This pawnshop is great !

  I called and ask if they have any Gold coins available And her response was go on eBay You people always Want the lowest price available rock bottom Just because I have a Local accent Doesn't mean she has the rights to say you You people are looking for rock bottom price I'm looking to buy in one oz gold gold I have $2000 to spend on it I was just looking to buy One I seen somebody wearing it a while ago and I admire It She had no right to accuse me that I wanted to pay rock bottom prices When I only said one Sentence do you have any gold coins available She was very rude just because Im local Do not come here she does not like local people She is very rude And racist She needs to learn how to treat customers with common Courtesy And not harass anybody because what their nationality is

  We tried our very best to workout this problem on the phone with her; but she was very rude from the beginning and wanted to just pick a fight with us for nothing. She says were racist; but she did not even come into the store , IN PERSON. So how can she say were racist?? We're a LOCAL BUSINESS PEOPLE, IN BUSINESS IN HAWAII FOR OVER 20 YEARS... This review is malicious & evasive from someone who did not ever come into our store. She obviously does not have good education enough to write a proper review. Her sentences prove that she is a person with low education ; without enough sense to workout out her problem with us IN PERSON; she is hiding behind this insulting review deliberatly trying to make us look bad. Thank God , we've got way better customers who love us & do good business with us!! MELISSA CHAO, please come into our shop, and show yourself; then maybe people could see if you're for real. We're way more local & loving people , than what you say here.
