  Gus was Great! Very personable and gave me a fair price for a guitar and amp I never used! I would recommend this shop to anyone as I felt the personal attention and great customer service was above average! (of course this is only the 3rd pawn shop I have ever been in I would say it was the best)

  Great variety of inventory, fair prices if not better... very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend if your trying to upgrade your car audio system with quality parts.

  Pawned somthing that was worth 1.5k for less then 100. Because I absolutely needed gass. Not even a week later came back to get it. Called before hand because I thought they would be closed soon but he told me hed be there till 5. I DROVE A HOUR TO GET THERE. I got there 10 before 5 and they were closed.. LIVID now.. I would have been fine just waiting till Monday but he said hed be there. Super friendly people but man I hate getting lied to.

  The owner is very sweet and polite. Every time I go in there, he's so helpful, kind, and works with his customers. It's seldom in this day and age to find a business owner that cares and takes pride in their business. Thank you so much for your help, sir. You have been a breath of fresh air, and it's appreciated.

  He is amazing, not being a resident to gainesville, I chose his establishment based on reviews and he was amazing. He was kind, patient and thoughtful. I recommend him to everyone I know going pawn shop hunting. He is the guy you need to see first if you're looking for something at a fair, if not amazing prize.

  Pappy's is a great place to buy good quality stuff he does not take in any junk it is good quality stuff so if you're looking for a pawn shop this is the one

  very nice. very reasonable. considering the numerous pawn shops in the area I recommend pappy's over the other five I tryed. got 1911's too American owned this message is approved by pappy

  Disappointed. Got here before published closing time, 20 minutes before 4pm on a Saturday. Person in green expedition sitting outside the door would not get back out to open the door because we were looking to buy something today. Lazy, disrespectful to customer, and must not care about business. Will never return.

  Pappys is hands down the best shop in gainesville. Gus(only guy there) is a straight shooter and treats people right.
