PAHO/WHO Federal Credit Union Reviews

Victor Jimenez1I would give it ZERO stars if I could. I called to request a debit card and spoke with Lucas. He informed me that all I needed to do was send an email with my address, which I did. Five days later, I wonder what the status of my card is, I call again, and the person I spoke with says that he has no idea where my application for a card replacement was but that he would send me a new card. I call again and speak with Oscar - he says that he has no history of me ever requesting a debit card and that for me to do it, I need to WRITE A LETTER, SIGN IT, SCAN IT, and EMAIL THAT LETTER to them. What financial institution does that in 2021? It's very inconvenient for a person who is busy. I am very disappointed in their services, and I would give them a zero if I could. They could have told me what I needed to do along the way but didn't. Now I have to do all of that when I could have just done it in my first call with Lucas, had he told me the information the way it's supposed to be. Message to management: Train your employees to have a cohesive message and please modernize, it's 2021, no one should be writing letters, signing them, scanning them and emailing documents to simply request a debit card replacement.

Marsha3My account was transferred from from another credit union upon short notice. The whole process has been a nightmare. I never received a notification on how to setup my new account under your system. I was told I needed a letter from my old credit union. Well, the transition is completed, how will I get a letter from the old financial institution? I called several times, always on hold, left messages, no one has called back or emailed me. The one time I did get an agent, he was rather short. In the meantime, the only way I can check my balance is to go to the ATM? Or call, which no one barely answers. Update as of 7/15/2021 The branch manager called me personally and walked me through the process, apologizingfor the merger mistakes. I'am updating this rating to 3 stars insread of 2 stars because of his professionalism. Thank you!

Loraine Reid5PAHO Federal Credit Union is like a family to me. When my daughter was at Johns Hopkins - this stood out and we will never forget this. I remember calling very early one morning to request a small loan for my daughter who was at Johns Hopkins University at the time.and spoke to someone to request a small loan for my daughter (and it was not like now- we had to use fax) Well I did the necessary and before the day was ended the funds were sent to my daughter.'s account. My children only know the PAHO/WHO Federal Credit Union. Of course one is now an Orthopaedic Surgeon in the UK and my Daughter is in Rehabilitative Medicine at Patton Hospital in California. At the moment, any time I have to travel I can always call and ask a question whereever part of the globe, I am. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. I also must say this, when I was about to retire, I was able to call them for advice regarding how to manage my funds and it is the best piece of advice I have ever had. Still have some savings invested. So ladies and gentlemen stand by them.
