  Over 10 years ago I moved my account from Wells Fargo to PPBI on El Paseo. I wanted a more personal relationship with my bank ~ I felt insignificant at Wells Fargo. PP has not disappointed. Elvira has helped me on numerous occasions throughout the years and it has been nice to have a familiar voice to speak to whenever I have a need. Two years ago I moved to Northern California and I choose to keep banking with Pacific Premier remotely. I am purchasing a home and because I don't live near a branch it was proving difficult to wire a large amount of money in a short period of time. Enter Monica Hernandez, Branch Service Manager. She immediately jumped to action, calmed my nerves, and solved my dilemma. I will be forever grateful to her for her guidance and support. I was thinking I might need to bank more locally but after the service provided by Monica and her team I am confident I can remain a customer for life. Thank you!!!

  We recently had some unfortunate events in our family that necessitated a change of trustees on a couple bank accounts. We didn’t have any experience as to how to make this happen. One of the accounts was with Pacific Premiere in Palm Desert, CA. The financial services employee we worked with was extremely helpful, telling us exactly what documents were required and providing an option for an out-of-state trustee’s required signature that avoided a long trip. Throughout the process the bank personnel were communicative, pleasant and efficient. This experience was markedly different from our experience with another bank, that bank’s employees were so unhelpful and non-communicative that it almost amounted to rudeness.

  Not responsive to their clients. Feels like big banking. If you don't have a ton of money with them you are simply not a priority. No worries, plenty of banks out there. 11/10/21 - Got a call from Barbara Ingram who is all over the internet giving generic responses to bad reviews. This bank has wasted enough of my time why am I going to call you Barbara? So you can act like it will make a difference? For the time being, no differently than Chase, we will keep our money at your bank. We don't prefer it and hoped your bank was going to act differently than a large institution. It won't, it is a "large bank mentality" which is a shame.

  I love small local banks because of the personal service they provide. Pacific Premier on El Paseo, however, takes that up a notch and has really impressed me. I was in the branch the other day looking for help with a possible small business loan since I'm already banking with them. Monica was really helpful. She explained every single detail to me regarding the application process. She also emailed me a couple of days after that to follow up and offer help. I had been on the fence about where to apply for the loan. I have now decided to go with Pacific Premier.

  The El Paseo branch of Pacific Premier Bank has the best customer service of any financial institution I have ever dealt with. We have been banking with this branch since 1991 and moved there as we were sick and tired of the shenanigans and hassles of the " Big Boys in Banking" As a successful business in our local area for 29 years we are always approached by Wells, Chase, BofA, and others to give them our business.....NEVER will I leave PPB or this branch! We are business partners and friends.
