  This is my first time buying a home and the Open Mortgage team is AMAZING!!!!!! Especially Gene and Jade. They made the whole experience easy and as stress free as possible. Always available to answer questions and concerns. I would give them 100 stars if it was possible. I will always be thankful for the whole experience of them helping me get my FOREVER home.

  Open Mortgage of SETX is an excellent mortgage company. This is our second time using them and each time without fail they are quick, knowledgeable, professional and yet relatable too. My husband and I had a situation and needed to get into our house quickly. And they worked so fast it impressed my husband ( that’s not easily done).   "They say" Buying a home is stressful but not with the staff at Open Mortgage! From start to finish Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Amber & Mr. Gene were available to answer all my questions & even educate me on the different stages of the home buying process 😀.   If I could give 10 Stars I would!! The whole team at Open Mortgage including Amber, Gene & Arlette were amazing to work with. We have long dreamed of moving from a subdivision to a home with land in the country and they made the process a breeze. We even went the VA route which we were prepared to be a difficult process and it was not at all! We often asked ourselves, "how is this so easy?!" They were kind, professional, timely and thorough. I will recommend them to everyone I know. This was our second home purchase with Open Mortgage of SETX!!

  As an Insurance Agent I work with Gene and his staff on a regular basis and love them! After completing a total remodel, I knew I wanted to try to use Gene to refinance my interim loan! His office is very professional and has great communication with their clients. Gene himself is one of the best, most knowledgeable and down to earth guys you will ever meet. They are a joy to work with AND had the best rates- We Dropped nearly 4 points from our Prior Bank Loan!
