OnPoint Community Credit Union Reviews

Luba Ethan1The gal sitting in the back left cube was so rude. I demanded to see a manager, and the gal in the office said there was not manager or supervisor at this location. This team thinks they do not have to perform basic customer service because there is no one to correct them. Do not go to this branch unless you enjoy being talked down to. Onpoint, are these the people you are hiring now? There are dozens of other credit unions that can get my business for both my personal accounts and business accounts. I don't expect red carpet treatment, I will not take someone barking at me and talking down to me.
Response from the ownerLuba, Thanks for sharing your concern. We strive to consistently provide excellent member experiences - it appears that, in this instance, we may have missed the mark. If you provide us your contact info via direct message, we can have our regional manager reach out to you to discuss your concerns. Sincerely, -OnPoint

Taylor Kainu5Amy Rice at this location is OUTSTANDING! She is so kind, and knowledgeable. Not only that but is extremely proactive. She was able to assist me and answer any questions I had. She was so friendly and went the extra mile to make sure I had all the information I needed. Not only that but her follow up skills are amazing. Weeks after she emailed me to follow up and check in to make sure I didn't need further assistance. If you are going to this location, check Amy out!
Response from the ownerTaylor, Thanks for sharing your experience with Amy! Your support means the world to our team. Please let us know if we can help you with anything else. Best, -OnPoint

Laura C.1This Onpoint is my "home branch." Normally I have great customer service here and Marion has always been extremely helpful to my daughter and I. Today she wasn't available, and I got Brianna. I was wanting to get my will notarized. I was told by Brianna that she couldn't notarize it because I needed witnesses. The will states that I don't need to know the witnesses and I asked if an employee could do it? Brianna said no because they don't know me. I pointed out that the will stated they don't need to know me, but that Marion did know me. Then Brianna got rather nasty with me and said she wasn't a doctor that could prove I was of sound mind and Marion would tell me the same thing. That wasn't called for at all! Very disappointed in Brianna's lack of professionalism. I left without getting the will notarized.
Response from the ownerLaura, Thanks for sharing your concerns. We'll work with our management team to review your experience. We're happy to hear that you were ultimately able to get pointed in the right direction through our Mill Plain Branch. We appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again soon. Sincerely, -OnPoint

Jeff Souders1I love banking at OnPoint, but I will not go back to the Safeway branch in Salmon Creek. Didn’t get her name, but the lady sitting farthest to the left on 7/3/2020 at 9:50am was so rude to my daughter and I. We came in so she could deposit her check into her account, and have them help her install the app on her phone, and this lady kept telling us one at a time and wouldn’t even listen to what I was trying to help my minor child with. I will continue to bank on the east side of town and will not come back to this branch! Horrible customer service, unlike any other branch I’ve been to!
Response from the ownerJeff, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate your ongoing loyalty to OnPoint and would like an opportunity to follow up with you about your concerns. If possible, please send us your contact info via direct message and we will have a branch manager follow up with you directly. We hope to hear from you soon. Sincerely, -OnPoint

Brad H2I've had a couple credit union accounts but don't remember the process being this difficult but i could be wrong and this could be the standard for CU's. I moved away so don't have the physical ability to go to a local branch, which is my biggest problem. I am having a terrible time adding, stopping, or changing payments. I can't do it online or over the phone without multiple steps including adding my primary bank. I just want to pay the remaining $18 of my loan and stop the autopay. Cant be done online or over the phone without adding accounts. Called twice and got 2 different answers from customer service so i don't know which to believe. Very confusing and online banking NOT user friendly! I'd love to talk to a manager to get this straightened out.
Response from the ownerBrad, Thanks for sharing your concern, we apologize for the confusion. If you send us your contact info via DM, we can reach out to you directly to help address the issue. Additionally, if at any time you would like to schedule a phone appointment with a local branch, you can request an appointment here: https://www.onpointcu.com/schedule/ We hope to hear from you soon. Big Make with Koenigsburg1This is direct to Lady in the back left cube. Disrespectful, when asked for a manager, they said there was no manager. No wonder the team gets away with being disrespectful.
Response from the ownerThanks for taking the time to leave your review. We take member concerns very seriously and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss the issue in more detail - please send us your name and contact info via direct message and we will have our branch manager reach out to you directly.
