  They pre approved me for $10k, I only asked for 5k. I was contacted at 9AM but missed the call only to call back 10AM with no answer. I then go thru multiple associates (John and Matt) that insure they can help me just to tell me i need a cosigner. Why even give pre approval for the hard hit on my bureau for no reason?

  These guys are great. When my son was in the hospital in Minneapolis and at UCLA, they bent over backwards to help me so my credit score did not suffer. I won't finance anything without Spring Leaf in my corner. Food for thought people. Now smarten up!!!

  Do not waste your time. I applied for a personal loan and got a call to email my tax returns and I did. Got a call back the next day and all they said sorry can't help you and they hung up. Didn't explain why or gave me a reason why I was being denied. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

  Dont waste your time. Call the Waukegan office..originally called to find out what was better for me to do. Get my own loan or get added onto my wifes ..and before I know it with out even answering my question I was already in a loan process..was told I can get 4900 told them that wasnt enough for what I was looking for. Someone else called me back the next day and said they can give me 4000..I told them now why would I do that if I was offered 4900 the day before...I asked about going on my wifes loan again and was told that they cant help me in that office she is through the Waukegan branch..so then why did they have me go through all of that...Dumb people at the foxlake office..they never listened to one thing i said would get put on hold then have to talk to someone else... Was told I didnt give them enough info so Matt got on the phone and was being very rude and said he needs more info when I asked him what he asked me the same questions the previous person asked and I told him then told him I already gave all that info to the lady..He then was s appr and said well I never got it.....HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT FOXLAKE OFFICE.. WAUKEGAN OFFICE QAS MOST HELPFUL AND TOOK THE TIME TO LISTEN...AND ANSWER THE QUESTION I HAF PROPERLY AND TOOK THE TIME...

  Friendly staff, they'll work with customers to get them approved for a loan. Working in the financial field, I've seen lenders of all types, and I can easily say OneMain is one of the best secondary lenders out there.
