  I give them a 2 because the workers there are nice people. Otherwise it would be a 1. I was looking for a loan online, and had previous dealings with OneMain's predecessor, Springleaf Financial. Springleaf seemed fair. Online, OneMain advertised their interest rate at a certain percent. They were the lowest for my small loan so I decided to go with them. When I went in to sign the papers, I was told the percentage rate was 5 percent higher than what they originally said. Right before that the worker (not a loan officer... an hourly worker) read the canned statement from OneMain saying they operated with "INTEGRITY AND HONESTY." I was pretty open about my displeasure, she apologized and said there was nothing she could do. You could tell she was embarrassed when I asked where the "integrity and honesty" was. I needed the loan for a major repair on may car, and couldn't afford to waste more time. I had to take their deal they offered with "integrity and honesty." Won't be back.

  They seem like they can help you but they cant if u just got out if bankruptcy dont even try for it. Some of them dont care. Just be aware if your credit is low and not good. Its sad that ues i did get out of bankruptcy but they cant give u a second chance to redeem yourself.

  It's basically a deceptive advertising scam where you get a letter that you're "pre-approved" but that's not true. Avoid.
