  One main has come through for me twice in the past few months when I thought I was at the end they helped me out. They were very polite and professional in our dealings and worked things around my schedule. The interest is high but when you need it now you have to expect that. I thought you had to own your vehicles to use them as collateral for a loan but you don’t they will payoff your current loan and give you a loan through them. It’s worth giving a call to see what options they have. They have more than I thought they did so don’t underestimate what One Main can do for you call them today.

  I recently contacted this company to get a loan. My furnace went out and I did not want to put it on a credit card. I spoke with Irma, who was the agent. First, I was told on the website that the amount I requested was unsecured and that I could get it without putting up collateral. Then, when I talked to her she told me the company was doing me a favor and was going to put me in a higher loan and give me more money, but they wanted me to put up my car for collateral. I agreed to this. Irma then contacted me an hour later and she wanted me to bring the deed to my house with me for my appointment because they wanted my house for collateral as well. I have a very good credit score and several credit cards, have never missed a payment in my life on anything, and I felt that his company was just fishy. I told Irma that I was not interested in the loan anymore and disconnected the call. She then called me BACK AGAIN trying to pitch me. This company was high pressured sales tactics on high interest loans. Instead, I contacted CHASE MANHATTAN, which is a far more prestigious company that One Main Financial. They increased my credit limit to the amount that I requested and gave me that amount for 0% for 18 months. I personally will NEVER do business with this company. So unprofessional.

  I love that you can get a personal loan in a heartbeat but I do wish that the interest wasn’t so high!! On a 6,000 loan I’m gonna be paying double! So as soon as I can I’m gonna try and change loan providers!
