  My recent refinance experience with OnQ was frustrating and disappointing. The process started smoothly, I was able to lock in a great rate, and was offered some nice closing incentives. Fast forward a month and I had heard nothing further and reached out to our broker only to find my emails bouncing back. I had to call around to track someone down to learn that my broker had left the agency. I was frustrated that I wasn't contacted about this change but was assured we were still on track and was given a closing date. I was told that my loan package was super simple and that there should be no further hiccups. The day before closing I had heard nothing further so reached out to the closing attorney and the new broker. The attorney quickly let me know that my packet had not been sent over by OnQ and we would not be closing. When I reached out to the broker he had no idea what was going on and went as far as to say that "he wasn't even getting a cut" on my loan and "would call me back unless he forgets to." Everyone on staff blamed everyone else. After expressing my frustration, again I was told we were back on track and I was offered an additional closing credit for all the trouble. I didn't ask for this credit, but appreciated it as a sign of accountability and an attempt to rectify the past mistakes. I was then bumped to a transition team who was not local. When the final documents were sent over to close, the closing credits promised by OnQ were contested and I had to fight tooth and nail for what had been offered. Eventually, after much back and forth they came through and we were able to close. Ultimately the whole ordeal was a huge headache. There were so many gaps in communication and I never felt like my business was valued. I understand there will be bumps in the road sometimes and there's a lot going on in our world right now, but after this experience I really wish I had gone with another broker.

  Heather is the best loan officer I have ever worked with. As an agent, it is imperative that we have quick pre-approval and attention to the details and follow through. Heather does this. Her communication is top notch and she has made every transaction as seamless as possible.
