Colie Panda1Erin was curt without provocation, lacked any human empathy whatsoever, and made no effort toward improving her disposition and unfaultering with snarky and intimidating comments. Thoughout the exchange I was overly polite yet completely triggered. I'm a disabled, African American person in COVID recovery with long-term residual effects from the virus. I called to ask some questions regarding the Emergency Voucher to abate my imminent eviction because Community Cares Partners keeps deleting my applications and/or rental assistance and I'd been applying since 12/28/2020. She was very intimidating, with a scary attitude, and shouldn't be a front-facing employee to interact with Oklahoma's most vulnerable people seeking assistance that our taxes pay for.

AyvreeTVZone. Rose Holt5Can y'all please send rental help, new renter pamplets/ information for new renters about landlords and that some of them will lower the rent to so people can find homes there's nothing really available right now and i have a home. i have section 8 and I'm asking for everybody else. Everyone is saying no housing available within range.
Response from the ownerUpdated 10/22/21 - Payment Standards have been increased. https://www.ohfa.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/Payment-standards-for-website.pdf Sorry to learn of your rental search challenges. Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) uses Payment Standards to determine the applicable rental subsidy amounts, which are based on U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) provided guidance. You can use gosection8.com to find landlords who will accept your voucher.

Linky Pinky1Rude service. Operator, told Nice helpful Lady Debbie told me to call after I sent maybe 3 messages/requests with NO response back at all and says interviews have been going back since on since covid 19 first came so she didn't know why they have not been back in contact. Dialed ext. 169 as instructed. Suppose she whom answered is not a morning person yet I got scolded and unheard she was so quick to cut me off and I've been on the list for over a year, plus currently pregnant with 3rd child. Me and my husband don't think that was very professional of this other woman. Not useful at all

bertha lighty1I have been on housing for many yrs, my issue with them is, we have a voucher and am in the process of trying to move, Ohfa says I can only get a 2-3 bedroom for $698, there is none for that amount, they rent for more, I have been looking for 2 months now and am having to ask for an extension, plus now they sent me a letter saying my rent is raised, what the heck and my income didn't even go up, it should not be this hard to get decent help, am thinking of contacting the state legislator, HUD (who funds) Ohfa or someone who can & will help, am so sadden and disappointed in them
Response from the ownerWe are sorry to learn of your rental search challenges. OHFA uses Payment Standards to determine the applicable rental subsidy amounts, which are based on U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) provided guidance. Depending on which county the unit is located, currently the 2-bedroom Payment Standards range from around $656 to $827 and the 3-bedroom Payment Standards range from around $815 to $1115. As each family’s circumstances vary, as long as a unit is rent reasonable, the gross rent may be slightly higher than the Payment Standard in some cases. When you locate a unit, you may submit a scheduling appointment request form and OHFA will review the data to determine the specific rental amounts. HUD has certain guidelines that must be followed to ensure a place is affordable for the family. If you need additional assistance, please contact your team at OHFA.

Amanda Madrigal1The worst office! They don't care that we are homeless while they take a long time on setting an apt for an inspection. Rude and heartless on the phone. They couldn't even find my information. If it wasn't for wanting to live in moore I would have stayed at the 4th Street office. Too much bs to deal with from them. Thank God for the day that I won't need stupid assistance anymore. We are all just people needing some help for the moment. I know that God will take care of all of this soon.

Eason Emily J5I love section 8, they are professional, and without this program i would be homeless. There are a few thing i didnt know when i got into the program which is nothing bad towards ohfa, but is good to know. 1). They dont get involved in disputes with landlords, and your stuck in the lease for a year. The only way to get out is if the landlord releases you. I have never known a landlord to release anyone 2). It doesnt matter how the property looked when you moved in. It could be disgusting when u move out the landlord has all the power. If he says.u owe, u have to pay it all back or your assistance will stop completely. So i found it best to take lots, and lots of pictures. Also, its best to rent from a company, and not a private owner. Thank you ohfa, for making my quality of living so high. Thank u for everything u do!
Response from the ownerThank you for the review!
