  Currently been waiting over 30 minutes to open a new account. I understand being short staffed, but having one employer to open accounts is unacceptable for any bank!

  I have had problems with Oconee State Bank blocking purchases I made online from a legitimate business for pet products. They block it because the seller is in the UK, even though I have purchased from the seller many times and been pleased. OSB still interferes with my purchases. I have met with them and been promised the filter is removed so I can purchase. Still every time I purchase they block it. I have emailed them to no avail. They reply but my purchases are still blocked even though they say they will remove the filter. I can't drive to England to make these purchases - I have to order them online. OSB has no business interfering with my regular purchases from secure legitimate sources that many people buy from. I am sick and tired of going round and round with OSB about this. They are incompetent.

  Excellent customer service and professional staff. Oconee State Bank has always been there to help me with my banking needs and I have often seen them go the extra mile to help out their customers. If you live in Athens or Oconee you should open an account here.

  OSB has been my bank for over 15 years and I've almost always receive the best service. When I didnt, it was rectified immediately. They are growing as far as with technology and online banking, but they still have room to grow.

  The bank closed it's branch at Walmart eastside. Their customers now have to drive to Watkinsville to bank. What were they thinking?

  Mr. Peebles, We see that you reviewed our business on Google last week, and were dissatisfied with the closure of our East Athens branch that occurred back in 2013. We strive to always keep our customers happy, and as significant consideration went into the decision to close that location and re-locate the employees there to other branches, we regret that you feel this was an inconvenience. Our customer base housed at that location has been very successful in using our expanded electronic and online banking capabilities for all their transaction needs, including the addition of Mobile Deposit in 2015.
