  This is the second time in 15 years that I have had the pleasure of working with Pat O'Connell and he'll be the first guy I call next time! Every home loan has it's struggles and my experiences bore that truth out. Pat and Billy O'Connell helped us navigate the process and kept us in the loop through all stages. The interest rate they got us was the best I could find. Even the notary who helped us sign the closing documents commented on ours being the lowest rate she saw this year and to date she has facilitated over 300 loan closings! The O'Connell's will be the first ones I recommend for sure.

  07/19/2021: It been while since my first review for Pat. Since then I have done couple of refinance, and every time, Pat has given best rate with beyond best service. I have recommend him to many of my friends and coworkers and they all are pleased with his service. Pat was very professional; His responses and follow-ups were beyond par; Answered all questions that could be understand easily; and gave the best possible rate I could found in the market; Very honest and upfront on what he can do and can’t; delivered what he promised. The entire team at V.I.P Independent Mortgage was very proactive; updated me throughout the loan processes; made it very convenient for me to provide all documents as well as other informations.

  Pat and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. They have been always reliable and professional as they walked us through the process of purchasing our home. They definitely made the process from start to closing very smooth and worry free. Communication was easy and whenever we had a question they responded immediately.   Pat was extremely helpful at explaining every step of the process, and was very easy to get a hold of. If he was unable to answer my phone calls or emails, I would promptly receive replies, even after-hours and on weekends when I had zero expectation of a callback. I got a great interest rate, reasonable fees, and the professionalism of Pat and his team was highly appreciated. I will be sure to recommend his services to all.

  We have used VIP mortgage threes times. One for our initial purchase of our home and twice for refinancing. We have also done business with other lenders in areas that VIP did not service. VIP is great. Very professional, great rates, ethical practices, and fantastic customer service. Patrick O'Connell is the best in the business in my opinion. I hope in the future they expand to service every area in the country so that we could use them for all our lending needs.

  As a business owner with multiple entities complicating my financials, and being 1500 miles apart in another state, Pat and his team worked hard to get my conventional jumbo loan closed. The fees were far less than a lot of other lenders I looked at. Most of the paperwork was submitted via email and follow up phone calls in the evening or weekends when I was available to talk. I would recommend him and his team to anyone without hesitation.
