  Steve Anderson and his team were phenomenal helping my family and I get a VA loan. Him and his team worked hard to make sure we got the best rate at the lowest cost, we’re very informative and responsive throughout the entire process, and made sure we closed on time. I highly recommend them to anyone searching for a VA loan in Texas. Great experience from start to finish.

  Steve and the team at New Horizon Mortgage have made the process of buying a house extremely enjoyable. They are very personable and friendly, and they were able to close my loan in less than a month! -- which is rare for a VA Loan. After shopping around for lenders (both local and large firms), I found New Horizon Mortgage to have the best rates AND lowest fees. I will definitely be working with them again in the future.   I have worked twice with NHMI, specifically Steve Anderson. My first experience was 2017 and recently on this month June 2020. I consider myself as a person who shops around on everything before committing to a purchase and I'm no different to mortgage loans. I did shop around for VA loans and tired big banks, and other lenders, Steve was able to beat them all in rates and closing costs, I got a great deal and did not pay some outrageous fees other institutions charge. Aside from the great rates, Steve is a great person to work with and the loan processor (Melissa) is also great. I have no complaints at all and can only say good things about this group. I've recommended Steve at New Horizon Mortgage several times and people comeback with the same experience as me. The best mortgage team that I've worked with all around 5 out of 5!

  My husband and I dropped in to visit Steve randomly and we left 30 minutes later with the hope of buying our first house. I doubted the whole process and never really believed Steve when he said he’d make the process easy for us since I’ve heard so many horror stories about buying a house but he really made it painless. He recommended a realtor (Jennifer, she’s also amazing) who we met with that weekend for home tours. Less than 4 weeks later our entire home buying process was over and we were able to move into our dream home! After talking to family and friends I realize we got an amazing rate and Steven and the whole crew at New Horizon took great care of our family. We’ll be returning customers when and if we decide to buy again!

  The experience my wife and I had with New Horizon Mortgage was amazing. From the first day, Steve was willing to do whatever needed to be done to help us out. We were first time homebuyers and Steve helped us every bit of the way. There was never a moment that we were left with unanswered questions. We closed 2 days ago, and everything went so smooth. Would definitely recommend to anyone shopping for a mortgage.
