  This week, I closed on my first home after working with Neighbors Bank to secure my mortgage. My loan officer, Rachael Plaggenberg, was with me at every step and did a great job anticipating the questions I would have and what I would need to be doing at every stage of the mortgage and home buying processes. As a first time homebuyer, I appreciated the energy, enthusiasm and care that Rachael brought to her work - it helped me stay comfortable throughout the process.

  We worked with Melissa Janke at Neighbors Bank in MO and we bought our first home in IA. We couldn't be more pleased with the service - she and Sara Treat (pipeline coordinator) were with us every step of the way and even though I looked at 5 other lenders - no one matched the service in terms of quality and cost that Melissa, Sara and Neighbors Bank did. Rather than take multiple hits against your credit when applying with different banks, do yourself a favor and contact Melissa Janke. She is spot-on. 100% willing and able and the best in the business. We couldn't be more pleased.   I would highly recommend going through Neighbors Bank and working with Dave Lawson as he put in the effort and care needed to go through something as stressful as a refinance it initial home loan.   My husband and I just purchased our first home and we were lucky enough to use Neighbors Bank. Jake Presti and Deb Anderson made this whole process so easy! Being a first time home buyer we had tons of questions and were very anxious to start the whole process. Jake answered every question we had, always responded right away, and honestly was such a pleasure to work with. We thank you both so much!! We're super happy in our new home!

  Where do I start? The home buying process is already stressful enough as is, and when other lenders were being non-communicative or flaky, Neighbors was attentive from the very start. I got an immediate answer on how much i could borrow and how the process was going to work. Neighbors makes it extremely easy to upload documents they need to process the loan, and they tell you exactly what they need. If you run inro trouble uploading, they help you with that, too! My Loan Officer, David, made sure that he got me the best interest rate and constantly checked in with me throughout the entire process. He was professional, friendly, and fun. I say the same about my Loan Processor, Deb. She was all those things, and she put me at ease during times I was stressing about documents I needed from work. She helped me through all the details and provided updates regularly so I never felt out of the loop. Anyone who gets a chance to work with David and Deb will be very fortunate. Hands down, some of the best customer service I have ever received, and just really genuine, friendly, capable people. I would recommend Neighbors to everyone. 100% satisfied customer here!
