  Beware the SCAM! I spent an hour uploading personal and private information in order to open a checking account. In spite of my perfect banking record and high credit score, they denied me a checking account. And they won't tell me why, in conflict with Federal regulations. It appears that they are collecting private, confidential information for their own use, whatever that may be. RESPONSE to "Response from owner": You understand incorrectly. No one has "reached out to me" to solve the problem. There may be incorrect information on a record that needs correcting.

  I have been a customer of Needham Bank for over 25 years.. The people are so helpful as well as kind. I love going somewhere where employees appear to really enjoy their jobs. I bought a car recently and a few of the customer service reps searched and found a shiny new penny for me to put under my mat for good luck.This is just a small example, however it meant a lot to me. I do my personal, and business banking here and have always been given plenty of time and top rate customer service to help me with my banking goals. If you’re searching for a new bank, Needham Bank is your best choice. Patti Forte

  They treat you like a person, not a number. No problem is too small for them to assist you with. I was second in line and they promptly opened another window although my wait was short.

  Dealt with Chris mortgage Lender doing a cash out refinance. Initially I sent in all my paper work that was asked for. MONTH went by couldn’t get a hold of him never locked my rate missed out on 3.25 interest rate. They have to many clients don’t waste your time. I Reached out to the senior loan manager told me I would get a answer the day of 2 months later nobody has reach out to me yet. Really upset I missed out on history low mortgage rate.

  Absolutely the best banking group I have ever had. I was previously a long time Middlesex Savings Bank customer. Upon switching to Needham my interactions with their representatives has been nothing short of fantastic. A Needham associate helped me transfer all my accounts from Middlesex to Needham when setting up my new accounts. Also their customer service and level of dedication to customers needs goes above and beyond what I expected. Needham Bank is definitely the bank to be with.

  This is a joke and not a community bank. NB has does not really have mobile or online banking (what they have is just fraction what other banks are offering). Yet they demand to move personal account to them in order to keep your small business account explaining that they want to see the full picture. May be it will work for small store on the corner, but as it would not work for any reasonable high-tech business. Stay away and don't waste your time dealing with this bank.

  Needham Bank 'can' be friendly and helpful. I find that unless I speak with Holly at the Ashland branch the others there blow smoke and treat you like an idiot. Just had one of their male Ashland Rep's say let me explain how online banking works - Really I have been using it for 15+ years. So after he tried to blow more smoke I called the Main branch in Needham .... I got the proper explanation of why a change was made without notification and how to correct...... I came from Middlesex bank that used to be spot on, but now adds fees and improperly processes transactions and blames the customer when you can prove it was their actions.

  Most of the people that I've dealt with have been great and have been generally happy with their offerings. However, the attitudes of a couple of people in loan servicing leave a lot to be desired.

  Great Service and outstanding Bank with local history and old school banking with 100% customer service . This is one of the top banks in Needham - Newton Area 5 Stars Bank ! It's great to be a part of this bank !

  Great services for the Needham resident, i don't have any account in the bank and yet they provide great assistance on notary services during this difficult "social distancing" time. THANKS
