NavyArmy Community Credit Union Reviews

Loraine Godfrey5I want to give 5 stars to the workers at Navy Army Community Credit Union, especially Loan Officer Nora Salinas. She is always there for our business and makes sure we are taken care. She has even answered our questions even after hours. She is a hard worker and goes above and beyond to help the customers of Navy Army Community Credit Union. In fact all of the workers have been great! I just wanted to let Nora know how much we appreciate her services and wanted to let Navy Army Community Credit Union know as well. We have been in business 7 years and just recently opened another business and Nora helped us get our new account open with no problems or difficulty. We highly recommend Navy Army Community Credit Union. Thanks you. Loraine Godfrey.

Rachel Medrano1I am lowering my star review from four stars to one star based on an interaction I had with an employee and sadly it isn't the first time that my hubby and I had a bad experience with her. Must recently, the employee was pretty dismissive of what we were telling her about our LLC. She made it seem like getting paperwork done by lawyers is so easy to get done, as she wanted us to change a document that was correctly prepared. We went to another bank and they informed us that we had all the correct paperwork and everything was in line. I went back to talk to the bank manager to let her know that her employee cost at least one account and possibly more. I was disappointed that she didn't mention anything that was going to be done after coming back to talk to her, for example...I will talk to the employee and get more information about your specific LLC formation. We are debating about pulling all of our accounts to another bank.
Response from the ownerYour comments have been forwarded to our executive team, and you someone should be reaching out to you shortly. If you would like to contact us with more information about your encounter, you can email us at [email protected].

Elizabeth Goode1Bad over the phone customer service. Was on hold for 15 mins. just to be told to walk in the door and told they don't give any appointments. I'm a professional and have to take off work so being able to make an appointment is crucial to me. Was talked over and interrupted several times. The lady wouldn't even let me get my question out without cutting me off. The person who answered basically acted like she just wanted to get off the phone. Not helpful, or polite, in any way. I've never been there before. I'm considering it as a credit union. Because of the bad customer service over the phone I'm not even sure I want to go in an check it out. I'll check out the other credit unions locally first definitely. Customer service is a big deal to me in regards to where I place my money. If I can't talk to you over the phone and even get a simple request or question out without being interrupted why should I bank with you? If I can't make an appointment and must risk being stuck waiting in a line, or in a lobby, for who knows how long to meet with someone and talk to them about services why should I bother banking with you? This is basic customer service skills- not talking over clients, and providing easy access to services.

Angela Marshall1Can't even begin to explain why I'm currently setting up a new account at a different bank! My account is a literal mess most times due to someone accidentally making changes meant for other customers. When it comes to loans they promise you the world only to yank the rug out from under you at the last minute. Recently bought a car and they gave the dealer a great interest then once the paperwork showed up it was 3xs higher! We were desperate and needed a car so we went ahead and purchased but are in the process of getting a different loan altogether in order to get out from under them ASAP! We can't even refinance for 6m so they can make sure they milk us for every penny they can so we are resorting to taking retirement money just to get out quick!

Alan Seitel1So far I do not see one thing that they have done right. We took an auto loan at the dealership linked to Navy Army. They didn't send coupons until I called. The wait for phone help is extensive and when I went in the teller was officious. The latest is their web page has phone hours starting at 7 am and yet, calling at 7:35. the recording said it was after hours.

that dude1Disgusting bank with disgusting, rude women working there. And don't bother making large amounts of purchases with your account, they'll suspend it everytime until you call them during business hours to remind them that you have the right to spend your own money without your account being frozen everyday.
Response from the ownerThank you for providing your feedback. We would like to hear more about your experience- please send an email to [email protected], and a representative will be in contact with you.

steven timmins1I have been banking with navy army for the past few years now and never have had any problems... Until I had to use the Kingsville location. They go back on their word about depositing checks on time. They’ll cash a portion of a check but it takes a week to have it hit your account? That doesn’t make the slightest bit of sense

Abby Martinez1They never answer the phone. i havent had access to my acct for almost a week. i have now been disconnected after waiting on hold for 30 minutes.
