Drew C. Dennis1I experienced horrendous customer service at the 1153 Gulf Breeze Parkway location. First by a member service representative who refused to tender a bona fide cashier’s check that was issued from an executive Vice President (member of the leadership team and employee of the credit union for over 30 years) because of the identification provided. After explaining the circumstances of the identification and it’s validity, but also my confusion considering the same identification was used to process a cashiers check from the same individual, at the same physical branch, for the same dollar amount; the customer experience was a sort of malaise you just would not expect in a brick and mortar for this outstanding credit union. My interaction with the member service representative acting as the manager at the time of my visit was disgusting. “Angie” was snide, condescending, insolent…she has no place in leadership or management in any vocation or capacity or department with a community credit union. She refused to explore the possibility of the solutions I politely suggested, nor did she provide any or offer any solutions of her own. She demonstrated a lack of respect several times in the conversation. Her attitude and resolve are not in alignment with a leadership position and she is a poor and insufficient representative of navy fed. This may be a harsh review but it is a truthful one. As a manner of record, Angie refused to allow me to speak with her supervisor, and alternatively had a private discussion. When asked, She refused to provide me her full name or her supervisors full name (“Starley”, was “all I needed to know”) or any contact information so I could pursue my grievance at a different time and venue which is very unprofessional and bad business. It’s peculiar how Angie is the person greeting members (and non-members such as myself) entering the branch, yet can flip a switch and treat someone like a member of the unwashed masses. I’d appreciate a written apology from this member service representative once she’s been redirected towards applying the core values and mission statement of the credit union she represents.

Heather Gordish5Today, I went in and it’s still wonderful, as ever! LOVE this branch out of all Navy Federal’s I’ve ever been to!! The staff gets along beautiful, and always makes me feel welcome, even though this past Corona year. Will never use a larger National Bank again! Credit Union all the way!!

david groves2Thanks to whoever processed my loan, they didn't overnight my check for my auto loan as instructed. They informed me that the check would be sent overnight so that I could have it in time to pay the dealer before leaving town. Now I'm stuck renting a car for a week due to Navy Federals mistake.

Evan Oliver5The member service representatives who work here are always courteous, professional, and helpful. Visits are always quick and simple. The ATM now gives out 50's as well as 20's, so you can get more denominations than at other local ATMs.

Valmarelys Morales1Unpleasant experience. I was assisted by Beth Stull and she was veeeery dry, i really dont know if she was just dry or rude but either way it was not the right attitude. Her face showed how much she loved working there, which I assume is 0. The 1st navy federal that made me feel so NOT welcome. Disappointed.

Jen Mueller1I went to the ATM today but since it only gives 20’s I went to the door and asked for a 20 to be broken. The girl told me they do not take or give cash past the doorway! What?! Isn’t that a exactly what a bank does??? Their whole purpose is the exchange of monies!!! This location seems to be the only business still not fully open in GB. Open Up and help your members! There are too many people being turned away here!
