  I applied for refi on my auto - they gave me the same rate I currently have ! Terrible and I have great credit! The lowest rate you can get here is 3.8% up to 18% Not the best place to refinance. Go to another institution I have other quotes 4% less then here. I feel terrible for anyone unaware. I say this as an underwriter.

  Cons: Karin landeros greeted me upon my arrival and was very Rude. Consequently, I started to take my business elsewhere! I had a mask on, and she scolded me like I were a two years old while asking me to tighten my mask. I followed the rules and my mask was fitting on my face. She was overdoing her job and once she noticed she caused a scene, she gave me a sob story of knowing someone with Covid; no empathy for me, so miss me with your story! Naval Federal, please train your employees on how to treat all customers with fairness, dignity and most importantly-treat others the way you would like to be treated. Pros: Matella White noticed I was packing up to leave and stepped in and diffused the situation. After meeting with her, I decided to open a new account with this establishment. Employees like White is what’s is needed! She thoroughly explained the products/services, and was very helpful

  I have always came to this Navy Federal since it opened and has been treated with respect. But my last to visits, I was completely disrespected. Called to the side and spoken to horrible. I only go in the bank for a 1,800.00 cashier's check monthly. Another then that I handle everything on my phone. Even the check is made through my phone and I'm just picking it up with my ID and or bank card. Totally uncalled for

  Such amazing and professional staff! I came in right before they closed due to traffic and they didn’t rush anything one bit! Still was treated as if I am valued. Thank you Navy Federal!

  Don't believe the hype that they are for military, vets, and dependents; it's just slick pr. As a disabled vet on a fixed income, I thought that I'd get better service from a military credit union..... NOT!! Just like the big banks...... Nothing to set them apart, let alone above. I made a miscalculation and added funds the next morning...... instead of paying the check (rent payment) NFCU returned it & charged the NSF fee. This occured friday and sat. with the nsf fee added on monday..... when my balance was way more than the check amount!!! Second time that this has happened. NFCU blames it on the computer; they "don't have any control" over it is their reply. NFCU won't allow me to enroll in overdraft protection either...... so much for us vets being the mission, unless they mean the mission is sc#* wing military, vets, and dependents. Stay Safe and watch your six!! UPDATED REVIEW ON 23 September 2021: Things have improved since the above "one-star" review...... I know give NAVY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION a 3-star rating. Problems have been resolved (to a point) and I would RECOMMEND NFCU for your banking needs. Better "bang for the buck" in terms of fees and related costs VS the big banks like CHASE, BofA, etc...... PHONE SUPPORT has been friendly & helpful as well. Again, I recommend this CREDIT UNION; a major improvement over my previous review and working on improving the experience for members.   I was wearing a mask and the lady sitting at the desk came over and told me to pull my mask over my nose even though it already was. I have a beard so when i talk my mask pulls down a bit. Never get treated like this over at the location by the colony. Maybe someone should tell that lady she is on a powertrip and she should keep her ego in check. Its the portly white lady with glasses

  I was going through a very bad experience and when I tell you the branch manager Matella stepped RIGHT in and owed the situation from start to finish I was to the point of closing everything CC CDs bank accounts THANK YOU FOR AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE
