  I just left from this navy federal and James was the one who assisted me and was extremely helpful. I’m in the process of getting my first car at 19, and he broke everything down for me. So next time y’all go ask for James!!!❤️

  Really nice location. Friendly and quick service, clean environment. I had documents notarized without appointment or fees.

  This branch has the absolute worst customer service of any bank I have ever visited. I was told by customer service 800 number to go to this branch because it was close to my current location at the time. I waited 45 minutes attempting to get a paper notarized. All while I was waiting, One person went to lunch, another person said she to the greeter she wanted to work a project and wasn’t taking any customers and finally when the last notary decided to help me he said we do not notarize anything pertaining to a trust. This document stated that I am the grantor of a trust( not the trust itself). The 800 number called the bank to verify they could help me with the document and was told yes I should come. The was a hour and a half of my time and nothing accomplished. Only one representative noticed my long wait and that the others were goofing off therefore acknowledged I was there and came and told me he would help me but he was not a notary. The other 3 representatives laughed and talked among each other. I will never go to this branch again.

  SLOW! The absolute slowest branch I’ve ever been to. I waited 45mins to have a document printed and notarized. The MSR at the front desk (Bukoyle, not sure how it’s spelled) very NICE NASTY. She was giving me the most difficult time to get a document FROM NAVY FEDERAL printed. Giving me the run around about how they can’t give out an email address to receive the document for “security purposes”. I’m sending a mortgage modification letter, not SPAM. When I worked for NFCU (2010-2013), this type of handling would NEVER happen. She wasn’t trying to be accommodating AT ALL. Their title is literally MEMBER SERVICE REP. She could’ve printed and notarized my document (because she ended up being the one doing it AT THE FRONT DESK ANYWAY) within 10mins. If you have nothing else to do for your day.. then this is the branch for you. The branch wasn’t busy at all, btw. Nowhere near northern VA branch level. Yet the wait.. longer than any other branch I’ve been too. I’m a 25+ year member, so I’ve been to my fair share of branches. It’s very apparent that this branch doesn’t have a sense of urgency. It’s a shame, because the building itself is beautiful.

  I try to do most of my business online or on the phone. The customer service is consistently poor when I visit. Today my visit to the atm was pretty interesting, an employee was very rude and sarcastic with me. I was pretty shocked, it threw me off. I just handled my business and left. Maybe she was upset because she was outside in the rain, who knows but I did nothing wrong. In fact I was considerate and patient.

  As much as I love Navy Federal, and I love in Waldorf, MD. I have to go to Accokeek, MD or Capital Heights to get great service. Most employees have an attitude and act like they do not want to help you with anything. Other then the employees the bank is great itself.

  Absolutely hate coming here, at any time of that day its always crowded and yes I know its a bank, and we are bound to stand in line, but this Navy federal is terrible with quickness! I know its good to conversate and make the "member" feel good. .. But if you have a line wrapped around the whole building you should keep conversation like that at a minimum! Stood in line for 45 min once, with 20 people in front of me. Way to long in my opinion. I suggest you get direct deposit instead of checks.

  I love Navy Federal. I do most of my banking online. But I hate coming into this branch. One time the girl had to print 4 different cashier checks for me because she kept making spelling errors. I hid it, but I was so upset because I stood in the line for 30 minutes only to have to stand at her window for 10 more. It should have been a 2-3 minute transaction.

  Like the new COVID setup-it gets you in and out in a timely manner. You sanitize at the door and again upon exiting if you would like. Pleasant organize staff is a win win also.
