Not impressed at all! The closest NFCU branch to us is 2 & 1/2 hours away! Not acceptable and when you try to “bank online” and each person tells you something different every time you call in. There should be a satellite office in every state! We are have USAA as well and are considering moving everything to USAA.

I wish we had good things to say. My family is full of service men and women, and NFCU was not up to standards. We had been pre approved for a mortgage months in advance, found a home, and were reassured by our loan officer that things were in order. Somehow, three days prior to our closing, they terminated the loan. Now our family is literally left without out a roof over our head, and I have no idea what we're going to do... Apparently the loan officer should never have pre-approved us in the first place, and she pushed our loan through without the proper knowledge of her own product terms, only to inform us of the error after we had invested thousands into the inspection, appraisal, and preparing to move. This has been a truly terrible experience, and they didn't show us any remorse whatsoever. Please just be aware that there are a lot of credible small businesses looking to help people get financed, and sometimes the larger organizations just don't care about the ramifications of their actions.

Hello, I am currently banking with Navy Federal credit Union, which is a federally owned. Me and my spouse have been with them since 2011 and never had a altercation with them until a few months ago when they charged us severely fees while we had money being deposited and showing approval. We contacted them via phone and they told us that we would still be charged the fees do to their hold time on the checks deposited. And for the recorded we were never told of the policies nor the notified of the gold times if any. We need help and assistance with this companies unethical and untraditional business practices and the way they treat also very many services Memeber and their families. We have had 2 IRAs, 4 savings Certificates, 4 Credit cards and one big car loan and all have been paid on time and never late. We also have a savings account for a little daughter as well with 2 savings accounts. WE WILL NEVER BANK WITH NFCU EVER AGAIN AFTER WE PAY THE REMAINING BALANCES OFF. And when we called they told us we can not record them on when we were discussing, I wounded way, maybe because they know they are in the wrong.

This bank never really helps me with anything! But they will gladly accept my direct deposit with no hesitation. No matter how much money I put into this bank, when I ask for help the answer is always no! I cant depend on this bank for anything other than charging me fees.

My credit is average at best (mid 600s)After being a Navy Federal member for less than a month, I received a preapproval auto loan for 18k and an offer of 19k that I had the option of receiving (no down payment) I found a car right at 18k and purchased it but a week later was unhappy with the dealership and it’s service department. No problem, Navy Federal canceled the check on the first car, redid my loan and had me in another BETTER car two days later! I went from driving a 2009 Chevy Malibu to a 2017 Lincoln MKZ with 20k miles on it. Thanks Navy Federal!

Absolute worse mobile deposit service ever. They don't accept money orders (fine). Left out one letter on the endorsement side, and they declined my cashiers check. USAA will always be #1. That's why I am 10 years strong with them all services. Step your game up Navy federal. Dangit!!! This is getting old.

This credit union is horrible. For an institution that is supposed to help veterans they are not even slightly intrested in doing business ethically let alone supporting veterans. My identity was stolen and this credit union not only allowed the abuse and misuse of my accounts, but when I notified them of it they froze my accounts. Each time I called and went to a branch they changed the story line. The end result is that tied up my accounts for weeks despite me making numerous phone calls and going into a branch over an hour away from me to provide whatever documantion they required for their investigation. They should be embarrassed by their behavior not only to a victim of identity theft, but to a veteran. Please take my advice and stay away!!!

If you are a Vet. They do not care about you. they are a bunch of liars. I had an account with them for 6 years closed because of an overdraft, when there was money in my account. I had not used that account in almost a year. So where did my money go? I called and asked. They could not give me an answer. Then started passing me around to different departments. Don't ask for their corporate office number. The don't have one. Sounds kinda suspicious if you ask me.

CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC!!!! You cannot get in unless you have an appointment and they have zero same day appointments. Only NFCU for hundreds of miles and they wont let you in the building.
