Mother of Peas1Worst bank. Do not recommend! I had my money stolen and had to get my debit card replaced, I've been waiting almost two months for it. They've issued me one 3 times within that time frame and still nothing. Don't trust them with your money or your time. Also staff is very rude and not helpful.

Kyle Orlowski1I have been an HCU member for 30 years. It was once a great institution. Sadly that has completely changed. This is apparent from not only my personal experience but of those that have posted here. Also, note the lack of monitoring and follow-up here by HCU on these complaints. This should also give you some indication of their lack of compassion/detail for service. I recently had an issue with a credit card and expiring points that have accrued over many years. I was never given any warning about this. The solution, I was told was unresolvable and that "They could not force me to read my statements". Well, perhaps they can read this statement. I am EXPIRING all of my accounts with this institution. It is also worth noting that there may be a decision on moving away from FDIC....Scary! With an exodus of members, this may prove to be a very risky investment for those existing members.

Marty Malesko1I've been a customer for around 25 years. Heartland took over 69,000 points that I earned on my credit card at the end of last year. I did not see any warning that you now lose them annually. Around 7 years ago the president took over 35,000 points from me because he said that I have been using other banks for my loans and they have alot to offer. I first went to them for loans, but they just can't compete. As soon as I get this card played off we're done. I think everyone will eventually see how horrible this place is.

Robert Williams1I have been a member for almost 30 years. Up until 5 years ago Heartland was the best. It is now virtually impossible to speak with a human being. All branches list one phone number that eventually leads to a 10 minute hold time or a voicemail that never returns the call. They recently changed account routing numbers that caused rejected payments. I could write a book but will end with - I'm finding another credit union as my daughter recently did after 10 years.

Linda Morgan5I have always had excellent service and dealing with this credit union. I do love the shared banking since they are not open on Saturday's any longer. I have had several loans through them in the last 15 years and I have never ever had a problem.

Debra Mccall5I've been a member for over 20 years and have received excellent service. When I have questions about my accounts, I receive speedy responses by phone or on the online message board. When I've needed to go into the Dayton office, I've found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable and professional every time, and I've even staff changes, but the quality of service remains high. I'm very happy with Heartland!

Doug Baker1Horrible customer service. You tell them that you do not want a broken service on your account and they leave it on anyway. So it trips for no reason and shuts your card off and then you get slammed with fees from places cause you have auto payments being declined. And to that fact they there hours are absolutely horrible and they have no 24hr service for emergencies.

Kyle Albright1Its always a different answer to same issue. Tjey say one thing and do another. Once im done with this auto loan will NEVER use them again or ever recommend them to anyone. If i could give a negative rating i would.
