Nikki Wood1The absolute worst credit union I have ever been t in my life!. Jeffrey Ginsberg the manager appears to be racist. Do not use this branch if you have brown skin. He will not show you the same care and respect. His employee cynthia made several over draft mistskes and he was ok with it. No apology or anything. When I told her about it, she said "They dont pay me enough" The Farnham office allows employees to speak to the customers in a very distespectful manner. My money is not safe. Accounts will be closed. I was going to have my kids college accounts transferred here, but I'm better off putting the money in a coffee can and burying it in my back yard. Per Cynthia at the Farnham branch they dont pay thier employees enough to handle customers money properly.

Wayne Zarycki1My wife and I went to Pount Loma Credit Union on Sport Area Blvd to transfer monies and get a large cashiers check. They won't let me use the mens room. I won't be using their services again. I know this area has a large homeless population, but they shouldn't judge a book by its cover
Response from the ownerThank you for letting us know about your experience. Because of security and safety concerns, some areas of the credit union are restricted to only employee access. We strive to make sure that everyone who walks through our doors gets taken care of in a friendly way. We believe in being a business that is Open to All and thrives on our very diverse team and member base. The safety of our members, guests, and employees remains top of mind. Lynn Dorris5I use Point Loma Credit Union as a shared branch. I belong to Wheelhouse Credit Union. It use to be Metropolitan Credit Union. Metropolitan use to have alot more locations but they closed them all except Downtown and El Cajon. So I can use Point Loma. I only have ever used used this credit union to make deposits or take money out. That's it. I find the tellers very nice.

David1The absolute worst customer service on this planet... the auto loan paperwork took weeks the dealership salesman said this was the worst process he has ever been through and he has been working there for 20 years. Then when my loan was all said and done they tried to force me into opening a bank account or they would penalize me with a higher interest rate which the rate was already pre negotiated. A few weeks ago I went to make a payment for my auto loan then they charged me 3 times in error and was not able to refund my money for almost a week.

greg morrison3I really like the tellers; always so helpful and friendly. My problem with this branch is that they have some sort of plug in 'air-freshner'. At the moment it smells like really sickly sweet fake coffee. Over the holidays it was some sort of 'holiday' smell. I am very sensitive to chemical scents and the ones that they use are some of the worst I have ever encountered.

Erwin Myers1Customer service and support not the best. Part of a co-op network, staff not trained to handle co-op business. Wanted to pay off a loan, unsuccessful. Wanted to make a loan payment, unsuccessful. Wasted trip to co-op bank. Will not take financial services of any kind here. Going elsewhere for VA loan. Disappointed.

Nick Thorsch1Their lending guidelines discriminate against self-employed business owners. They only like government assisted individuals etc to ensure they are guaranteed their cash. This was their words to me.
