  Very respectable guy. He has always given me the best prices for my stuff and is super nice. Literally goes above and beyond to try to help you. Once I sold some items to him and he even called me personally when the date to renew came due. I mis-communicated and he thought I wanted to pawn when I intended to sell. So he called to make sure before putting those items out. I have respected his integrity ever since! Definitely try him before going anywhere else in town!

  Great place, very knowledgeable staff, also very low interest rates on loans. If you want something nice this is one of the 2 pawn shops I deal with in town for nice items. Most pawn shops feel dirty or just used up, not this one. I've bought presents for family members here, stuff for myself and stuff for friends. Great selection, great customer service.

  Great shop! I went here about a month ago and the gentleman who was there wasn't a fan of what I had, still took the time to value it and even gave me a great deal to help me out. Honest people with great service. Happy to know I dont need to go anywhere else.

  DO NOT SHOP AT THIS PAWN SHOP ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A SEVICE ANIMAL!!!!! The owner approached me saying that they don’t accept animals. I notified the owner that she is a service animal. He didn’t know what to say so I told him he’s allowed to ask the service that the animal performs. I told him the service. Then I gave him her service papers. He took it from me and then proceeded to tend to another customer that walked in after I did. When I realized that he didn’t want my business I took the document and left. I do not shop at establishments that do not accept persons with disabilities and neither should you!!!

  Hey KC. I’m sorry that you were dissatisfied with your visit on Friday. To be fair though, what I actually said when you walked in with your dog (that had no visible indication of being a service animal) was “we don’t allow pets” not “we don’t accept animals”. Also, you never mentioned what service your dog provides, you simply said “I have seizures” and left it at that. As you’ll recall, that’s the point at which I became speechless; I was in absolute shock to find out that someone can suffer from seizures and still drive a car. Honestly, I’m still trying to wrap my head around that one. Remember, it was just me in the shop that day so I’m sure you can understand my trying to help everyone as best I could. I’m sorry I couldn’t check your dog’s status as quickly as you wanted me to but bear in mind that your total time in the shop was less than 3 minutes; I’m not sure I could have checked your dog’s status that quickly even without two other customers in the store. Finally I’d like to suggest that just because somebody asks to verify your dog’s status as a service animal doesn’t mean that they dislike you or that they don’t want your business. Likewise, the statement “we don’t allow pets” does not equate to “this establishment does not accept persons with disabilities”. I dig your passion, but I think it might be aimed in the wrong direction.

  They gave me the best price for my jewelry out of anyone in town by far!!! Easy to work with, very helpful and compassionate... they know people might be going through hard times when they come in.... they are AWESOME!

  I give one star for the fact that they exist. I had a horrible experience, but yet an eye opener. They know nothing. I went in with a bag of gold. Broken and in tact jewelry. First off they only purchase resellable items. Ok. I had that. Which he went through the bag putting pieces aside saying "this isn't real, that's not real ". Upon which I said "that is 24k, that's 14k it says right on it". After I got upset about his claims I replied, "give it back, give it all back". I then went to a jewelry store and sold all items. $711.00 worth of "not real " jewelry. Moron. I will never go back and I will never suggest them. Horrible experience.

  Melanie, I’m so sorry you were dissatisfied with your visit today. I’m also sorry we didn’t get a chance to buy the real gold that you had with you. As you remember, we were all set to buy some of your pieces and I wish we could have made a deal before you left (you’ll remember that the reason we decided to pass on some of the pieces was because they stuck to the magnet). Naturally this prompted us to conclude that they were not actually gold. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience. Out of curiosity, did the jewelry shop that you visited buy the magnetic pieces of gold too? Either way, we’re glad that you ended up making a deal that you were happy with and hope to see you again sometime. Tim
