      The customer service was impeccable. The staff worked tirelessly to make sure the loan I needed was approved and all the necessary paperwork was in order. Also got a great rate.

      I met a young woman who looked like she could have been a new hire at the Hylan Branch. I think she told me her name was Thatiana. There were no member service reps who came to greet me even though they had no customers. However, she came, and she greeted me and helped me with information on how to receive money owed to my passing mother. She got the manager and stayed around as he gave me new information. After he left, she asked me if there was anything else that she could help me with. I wanted to share this because oftentimes going to this branch I do not see this type of care at all.

      We had a very positive experience opening up a joint account. DeShawn was very knowledgeable and for his first time doing a joint account did a terrific job.

      Exactly 25 minutes and counting waiting to do a pin change! (Look at the pic and you tell me how busy it is). The only positive about MCU overall is the very low interest rates available. EVERYTHING ELSE SUCKS!!! The wait times, the hold times, the app, the hours, the very very limited locations, the lack of integrated technology.. It’s a very outdated bank and it’s limited services are beyond frustrating.

      I went to the bank to get a new card because my old one wasn't working. I have two accounts; one single account for me and a joint account with my son. The person who issued me a new card gave me a card that was join to my son's account. All this time I was making purchases it was coming out the wrong account! So now I have to wait to Monday morning to go to the bank and have them fix the issue. And I have to replace the money that was came out of my son's account! The person on the phone I spoke to couldn't fathom how a mistake like that was made. He felt so bad for me but there wasn't anything he could do over the phone to help me. This is so annoying! I hope they are able to fix the mistake they made.

      Worst experiance ever when trying to find out about a auto loan.i think his name was AUSTIN.im glad i went with financing through the dealership.i would never use mcu again!

      Service is well but the major concern is how inaccessible this bank's service is. If you work between 9am to 5pm weekdays, good luck being able to have time to call their customer service or enter their bank. I had to take TWO sick days just to use this bank during dire emergencies. Do yourself a favor and use literally any privately owned bank.

      So my union continues to push me towards using MCU so i decide to give them a try. Due to COVID, I am pushed towards setting up an account online. After about 20 mins of filing out applications and sending them documents I finally finish. The next day they tell me that I must go to the branch to see someone in person. I come to the Staten Island branch and there’s no one here to help me. The guys out to lunch for another 30mins. This is hilarious. Don’t bother using this bank or branch. Stick to the pros like chase.

      The member service at this location was efficient and all the employees were so friendly and kind. From the tellers to the security guard. The representatives there were able to help me quickly and were so kind. I wish they were closer to my residence but I will travel for service like that.
