  Looking for a bank you can trust with your money? Well this is not the bank for you. I was extremely disappointed after recently noticing an unauthorized charge on my debit card. After speaking to the retailer and receiving no explanation on what the charge was for, the retailer told me they could not help me and I needed to contact my bank. So I spoke to Caitlin at MSUFCU who told me she was unable to help me as well and I should call the retailer. I do not appreciate the finger pointing game, being given the run around, and my bank refusing to protect me against unauthorized charges. How very unfortunate that MSUFCU will not take the side of their customer over an unauthorized charge as small as $5. I would be very scared to keep the bulk of my money at this credit union knowing that they do not care about their members. I planned on making this account my main checking account but have decided not to after this experience and realizing that I would not be protected against fraud and unauthorized charges. World of mouth is very important in this small community and I’ll be sure to share my experience anytime I hear anyone mention this credit union.

  So me and my fiancé went into the southside MSUFCU about a 5 days ago to get an auto loan for her. I was there in case we needed a co-signer. We went through the credit application process very easily and she was able to get done on the loan all by herself. No co-signer needed. The lady we were working with told us to come back on (3/8/22) so we could get a better rate because of x,y,z. 10/10 rating for the service and ease of services for the Southside MSUFCU. So fast forward to today. We stop into the WESTSIDE MSUFCU and all of a sudden she’s not approved for the loan. The loan lady we were working with was rude, short, and had an incredibly stand-offish attitude. She offered no real reason why they didn’t approve the loan either. Just run around words with no definitive answer. She didn’t even offer to have me as a co-signer on the loan either to try and get it done when I was right there. The loan lady was very quick to tell my fiance she wasn’t approved and she should look elsewhere. Very unprofessional and I’ll make sure to tell my friends and family about this experience.

  I left LAFCU after 36 years because they don’t care about me. MSUFCU has better rates and treated me fairly.

  I love MSU federal credit union! My 1.5 year old loves coming here, she is always talking the employees ears off. They have great auto loans and are easy to work with. I love how they always call when they see a mysterious charge from another state it makes me feel safer knowing that someone is looking out for fraudulent activity. I highly recommend them.

  Ann Marie was great! She helped me get approved for a loan option that had excellent terms that I could not get at my current bank. I highly recommended MSUFCU for banking and loan needs!

  Great staff here. Excellent investment products, excellent checking account products, excellent savings account products, excellent home loans and auto loans. Various credit card products. All or most of your banking needs in one place. Free ATMs all over the Lansing area, especially the Quality Dairies. GO GREEN GO WHITE #SPARTANSWILL!
