  I have found Mountain America to be an amazing credit union. Each individual who works there has been kind, willing to be a maximum help and the customer service has been amazing! I spent the past several years paying off medical bills and found that the institution that I had been using to get loans in order to reestablish my credit had not reported any of the loans nor my amazing payment history with the big three credit institutions. Last year after my significant other passed away. I decided to refinance my car and a low interest rate credit card. I found out that I had no credit except for my student loans. They took a chance on me and recently I was able to get a credit increase on my credit card and significantly lower my interest rate on my car. The customer service in their call center has been amazing as well! I would suggest Mountain America to anyone. I have been with Chase for 20 years. From the Arizona area to Idaho. I still have my Chase accounts; however, I am slowly making Mountain America my main financial institution. The money market interest rate is much better than what Chase has. I would suggest them over any other financial institution I have dealt with. I have moved from other states and have used my work Credit Unions. This has been my best experience thus far.

  When I moved to this area, I needed to choose a bank. I was checking out 3 or 4. I walked into Mountain America. I was greeted, offered a seat and a bottle of water. None of the other banks even acknowledged that I was there. I financed my home through MACU. When I needed a personal loan, they helped me get it with no problems. I also refinanced through them. Tom and his crew are the best.

  The Bank itself is really good but when you call 15 times throughout the whole day and I wish that was exaggerated but I have been trying to call since 9am and absolutely not one of my calls got answered that’s a bit annoying and frustrating . But when you do get a hold of someone the customer service is very good and they take care of anything to their ability! Inside the bank is very nice and all of the staff are super friendly and helpful!

  I received an offer in the mail to open a checking account and I needed a local one and Mountain America is a great credit union. It took almost 2 months to get it set up and linked to my original account and when it did happen I did not get the money deposited that was promised. I also don't know where my original deposit to open the account went so it is on going. It took over an hour on the phone to get the account so that I could make a big deposit I had been holding onto for the 2 months. In the office location there is great customer service but if you need customer service to follow up or call back it's almost impossible. Rates, fees and the employees are great, there just isn't any follow-up or accountability.

  MACU comes highly recommended by me!! In my experiences the agents are professional, experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly. Never long lines even during the pandemic. Appointments are always on time and always with the personnel I requested. Again Highly Recommended.

  I have been with this bank for two years and every time I have to go into my local branch everyone is always so willing to help and they usually have a smile on their faces. Best decision I made by going to this bank

  I absolutely love this credit union. The service here is excellent. I have never had anything bad to say about this place and never had to wait on getting a signature loan, it literally took 5 min to get approved. I would reccommend this credit union over any bank ever created..

  I’ve never had a better financial institution. The service is quick, the people are amazingly friendly and they will help you with anything you need. I have nothing but praise to say about our mountain America credit union in Twin Falls Idaho.
