  Morty is great! They have closed 2 loans for us. I typically don’t leave reviews but they truly made the process easy. The rates and fees you see in the portal are accurate and do not change. The closing team is super responsive and helpful along with always making sure that we were cleared to close long before the closing date. That provides such a relief, especially in this crazy market! 100% would recommend and will absolutely use them again in the future if we buy another home.

  Great experience working with Morty! They gave me the best rate on my home loan amongst all of the many lenders that I researched. Then they were extremely helpful throughout the process. Everything went smoothly with them from start of application to closing.

  Morty is the best! First of all, their loan interest rates and points (APR) were absolutely the lowest in the industry. Several mortgage brokers told me, "It's impossible, it mush be a gimmick. You will see they will not go through with it." But they did! We closed with exactly the same rate we've been promised from the get go. The team we worked with--Angela, Teresa, and Ebony--was outstanding. Flowless customer support that other companies only aspire to achieve. We appreciated their patience, responsiveness, and assistance every step of the way. Working with this team was nothing but pleasure. Thank you very much indeed!

  Very nice experience with Morty. When I schedule the broker from Morty, he always called back at the designated time. The closing process also smooth and without any issue. Highly recommend! The best thing is the interest rate provided by Morty is very competitive and you have plenty of options.

  Best lender I've ever had. Very communicative, quick, and easy to get a hold of when you need to. I like that you can see exactly what step everything is on on their site. They seemed to always be on top of their stuff. They even let me know when the lender funded our loan before the closing, which was very reassuring. Highly recommend.

  Overall a positive experience. It was easy to get a quote and at the time I started it was on the lower end. Communication started off slow initially, which is probably the case for all lenders but was good need closing. My only complaint is that the lender way over estimated escrow (taxes) and Morty were unable to talk common sense into the lender.

Taxes are not something that a mortgage provider can negotiate during the mortgage process. Having extra money in escrow at closing is common, so you have enough funds to cover insurance and taxes and can avoid an escrow shortage. If you had a surplus of funds held in escrow, then you will receive these back after closing, or can use them for future expenses.   I competed FOUR different mortgage companies against each other and nobody was budging on the rates or the "Origination fees" or all the other hidden fees. Then Rebekah from Morty contacted me after I had filed a pre-approval with them and she explained how Morty is different as a mortgage *broker* (I had been dealing with 4 different Lenders) because they *shop for the best deal* for you! Boy did they deliver. I competed them against all 4 lenders (I have excellent credit) and suddenly all these companies started changing their rates to match Morty (but nobody could actually *beat* them). I'm SOLD on Morty. They followed me all the way to closing and their online stage-by-stage guide was very easy to understand and I could do 100% by online signature. GAME CHANGER!

  We worked with Derek @ Morty and he was so helpful, knowledgeable and patient throughout the process. Plus, he found us an amazing deal, better than any other lenders we had spoken to. Buying your first home is such a huge deal, and he very much treated it as such. We are grateful for the support, and could not recommend Morty or working with Derek in general as well!!!

  We didn’t end up using Morty because of our timeline, but it was great! The website was really easy to use; it was so helpful to plug in our information and find out what rate we would get with Morty. Their customer service has been helpful too!

  Morty was awesome! I stumbled across their site while rate shopping and am so glad I did. They offered us the best deal (and I shopped around a lot). Their mortgage calculator tool was easy and useful. Their closing checklist was straightforward and very helpful. Their team was super responsive to all my emails. We went from the initial quote to closing in 29 days. I don’t know how they manage to be cheap, fast AND great but they were!
