  Getting our home loan through Scott Hastings was one in a lifetime most satisfactory experience we had. Throughout the entire process, Scott was genuine and honest, and off-the-chart prompt to respond. For instance, anytime we needed another pre-approval letter for a different amount or had a question, and didn’t matter whether it was after hour or the weekend, he always replied promptly and gracefully, and provided the document in record time; A service that we couldn’t get from our bank – the delays were days, and contacting them was only possible within the business hours. In this housing market getting lethargic reply brings anxiety and the buyer could miss the chance to make an offer for the home they like. And we got a good interest rate, and the closing cost was reasonable. Our sincere thanks go to Scott and his proficient team.

  From the very first phone call with Scott to the day my loan closed the entire team at Angel Oak Home Loans was very responsive to all of my questions, and concerns.   Scott went above and beyond to help me make sure that I was happy with my new townhome! He was always in contact and constantly gave me updates and met with me at anytime that I had any questions or concerns about the homebuying process. Scott is very flexible with his time which was great for me being a teacher and coach who coaches two sports with very little downtime.   We just refinanced our house with Scott and it was an easy seamless process. My husband and I are small business owners and getting a mortgage can often be complicated. Scott and his team understand the needs of small business owners and they understand the tax returns that the underwriters need to see. They were upfront with the required documentation and did not keep adding on additional requirements like we have experienced from other lenders. The mortgage closed on time without a hitch.
