Kathryn Obright1If you’re a veteran, go elsewhere. Awful! Samantha said yesterday the closing costs were $5650 and the most we would pay is $950 out of pocket (seller paying closing costs). Now she’s sent disclosures and they’re saying $11k in closing costs on a $124,900 mortgage?! Her answer for this: oh well Finance charges and interest rates change. SHE’S TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A DISABLED COMBAT VETERAN. My husband fought for this country. For HER freedom and she chooses to take advantage of him. Disgusting behavior. Well I’m not having it. We have no problem letting the whole deal fall apart while we find another lender for the next home we put an offer on. Thank God we didn’t pay our due diligence. Samantha is flippant and thinks this is a joke. I read through the contract and she messed up a lot! Tons of errors. So go elsewhere where the people actually know what they’re doing. EDITED: Samantha said they do what they want bc they loan to people at whatever credit score. I recorded the entire phone call. EDITED: Another local lender said she was committing fraud. We are reporting her, the company, the phone call, emails, and disclosures to the Attorney General of NC
Response from the ownerHi Kathryn, we reached out to you about a month ago as well on our Facebook page where you posted the same review. Unfortunately, due to a significant change in the situation of the borrower (your husband), it does put the loan at stake. We are not at liberty to discuss further and encouraged you to speak to your company president, Rob Clennan, directly. We urge you to give him a call as we still wish to be of assistance to you and your husband. His number is (719) 339-2012. We welcome all feedback and open conversation, but we are not in the business of taking advantage of Veterans. Our company is founded by a Veteran for the purpose of helping other Veterans.

Sandra Moreno5My husband and I tried many different companies that told us that we were pre-approved for a loan but they all fell through. Adrienne Morgan was the only loan officer that got us fully approved for the loan and got us to close. Forever grateful for him and this company. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to finance a home especially if other companies start closing their doors. He was definitely the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you so much Adrienne, we appreciate you!

Keri Miller1I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING SOMEHWERE ELSE Apparently Bill McDade thinks it's okay to be snarky to women but completely reasonable with men. My husband and I were emailing him at the same time, it was like it was 2 different people. Update #2: our loan officer apparently caught covid and that's why we couldn't get ahold of them. NO ONE in the company, not even his assistant reached out to us to inform us UNTIL I called the main office in Colorado Springs. Immediately got an email from Bill McDade who is apparently the branch manager for Greensboro. At first he seemed like he would be easier to work with but we were sadly mistaken. Every email and phone call goes unanswered unless he or Emily have something they need from us. NOT ONE SINGLE PHONE CALL HAS BEEN RETURNED. My husband has been calling FOR DAYS and leaving voicemail after voicemail to no avail. And now we have learned from our real estate agent that "the lenders said they need more time and we will NOT be closing on time". I have a child due by scheduled c section exactly 7 days after our original closing date, which they have known since day one. Not a single email or phone call from Mr McDade was sent to my husband or I to inform us that we will not be closing on time. This ENTIRE process has been mishandled and downright appalling. It seems that the only time someone responds to any of these reviews is to say they don't have a loan under said person's name. I WILL be calling the main office AGAIN tomorrow bc SOMETHING needs to be done about this branch and it's inability to communicate with it's clients properly. UPDATE: we have left MULTIPLE voicemails with no response and I found out a few minutes ago that my real estate agent as well as our closing agent have also been trying to get ahold of our loan officer Chris Edwards for a while now. This lack of communication is ridiculous. I have sent inquiries to the company with zero response. I know, if we ever decide to go through this process again, we will find another lender. This is our first home and unless you are seasoned and have experience with the process I do not recommend going through this company as the sheer lack of communication adds way too much stress to an already ridiculously stressful situation. So far I can't give a full 5 stars because getting a hold of our mortgage officer has been like pulling teeth. The number on Google doesn't work, the number in the emails rings twice then says "the party you are trying to reach is not available" and hangs up. We rarely get responses to emails, and have, supposedly, 11 days left until closing and are left with multiple questions and no one to answer them. The home buying process is already extremely stressful without the lack of communication. I can say that so far that's the only thing that has disappointed us.

Izzy Lindsay5Phenomenal staff. They are dedicated and go above and beyond to ensure the process goes smoothly and all your ducks in a row. If you want people that will work tirelessly to ensure your mortgage goes through, your paperwork is done right, and you meet your closing date, choose Mortgage Solutions Financial. They stepped in after a bad experience with a previous lender. They took me all the way from beginning to closing in two weeks. Amazing experience and amazing staff.

Niesa Skiles5Me and my husband worked with Tim Delgado and had a great experience! The process was very smooth and Tim and his team were very responsive to any questions we had. We used the VA loan and that was fine. Since we bought during Covid everything was done via Docusign. We were kept up to date through out the process. Tims team worked hard to get us in our new house closing was so painless and easy was happy to be able to close on our closing date with no issues and was actually told the loan funded while we were in closing signing the papers! As first time home buyers it was a relief to have such a smooth process.

Shawn Secor5My loan officer tim delgado got the job done when no other lenders could. We tried 3 lenders one of which said its a done deal put the offer in so we did. It was 3 weeks before closing and our lender said sorry we can't close try again in 3 months. We then got referred to tim delgado. Tim said nothing is impossible just because you got turned down before dont mean we cant get it done and still close in 3 weeks. My wife and i were stressed to the max not knowing if we could actually get it done or if we wod have to find a rental. Between calling and emailing my agent and tim non stop they managed to relief a little bit of stress. Tim told me from the jump nothing is guaranteed but im pretty sure well get it done. Well here we are 3 weeks later and tim got it done and we closed before our closing date.i would recommend tim to anyone and everyone. He did what 3 other lenders couldnt do and got it done.

Rhonda Hollon5Bill McDade always kept us in the know. Every step he worked with our realtor and us. Jean Beauchamp worked long hours and got the job done in the allotted time. With several addendums needed everything was still done in time for closing. Would highly recommend mortgage solutions!!!

Courtney Owen1I’d give them negative stars if I could. The entire process was a nightmare. We started working with MSF out of Colorado Springs and was transferred to their Greensboro, North Carolina office since we were planning to purchase our second home there and selling our current home in the springs. The initial preapproval process went super smooth, but once we got into underwriting it was a complete cluster. We worked with two different people, Jean Beauchamp and Tim Delgado, both of whom must have had pull to get their jobs to begin with because the level of incompetence was astounding. We had to resend the same documents at least 2 or 3 times because they kept getting lost and “not saved to their system”. They also missed cutoff dates for documents that’s needed our signature and each time, blamed it on us. We would never receive the emails, we’d call and text them both for updates (as we were traveling across country to make sure we met their deadlines) and it was always radio silence until the cutoff time was missed and they didn’t get what they needed...all because they wouldn’t send it to us!!! They told us we owed $6k at closing, and we signed a document saying so, only to receive a nasty text message 3 hours before closing stating that we actually owed $9500. When we disputed that this was not disclosed to us at all (even after speaking to Tim’s manager twice due to the level of disrespect we got from him multiple times when asking simple, clarifying questions) and that we couldn’t just come up with $3k in less than 3 hours. Well all we got was a series of texts and emails saying how this is all our fault, we knew what we had to do, etc.. Tim was the most unprofessional, arrogant, and self serving person I’ve ever had the chance to speak with in my life. Anytime a question was asked, he would rebuttal with how he knew better and he’s been “doing this for over 20 years”. Yeah well you’d never know it with the way he chose to handle things. After closing on August 28th, we received 2 letters that our homeowners insurance was going to be cancelled due to non payment and our city taxes were owed, both of which were paid at closing. We reached out to both Tim and Jean and no response from either. Called the main headquarters to get more info and the customer service woman said she couldn’t help because our loan still wasn’t complete and was “still going through the process”. I finally got it straightened out with the agencies themselves but still nothing back from Tim or Jean. I would NEVER use these people again in my life! And I’ve seen many responses to these negative reviews stating that the company has never worked with those people and I wouldn’t trust this company as far as I could throw them. They lie about everything. I can provide a loan number and other details to show that we have worked with this company in the past. Don’t let them fool you!

Stephanie Esquibel5Christy Roels was the best loan agent that we could ever ask for. She went above and beyond even during her vacation and late night hours to assist us with purchasing our new home. We would highly recommend her to anyone that whats a dedicated loan officer!

Angie McKeon1I'm a realtor and represented the sellers. The buyers used this firm. Absolutely nightmare dealing with this company. They never get things done on time, and after closing was delayed for 2 weeks, which cost my sellers thousands in moving truck fees, and the inability to close on their newly purchased home. No sense of accountability on Mortgage Solutions. Extremely rude loan officers. Literally came down to 5 hrs before contract ran out before they got all their stuff together.
Response from the ownerHi Angie, we apologize but it looks like we have not had the pleasure of working together before. We would like the opportunity to change your mind about our company, and we care very much about maintaining a high level of customer service. Please give us a call anytime to discuss your feedback!
