  My wife and I have been looking for a home the past 6 months. We switched to mortgage one west and immediately we felt like we were in good hands with Alex Chu.   Karl Wiesner ghosted me (listing agent), buyers agent, and buyers clients in the middle of a pending transaction. I've never had that happen before from a lender. After 3 weeks into the Puyallup transaction, he suddenly stopped answering calls & replying to emails/texts. Right before closing date, we had to scramble, extend closing date, and the manager had to take care of it for him. Extremely unprofessional. —reply to the owner: I understand sometimes a surprise comes up in borrowers history. Just a simple phone call or email is all that would’ve been needed instead of ignoring our calls/emails and Karl never reaching back out to us.

  We appreciate all feedback and are sorry to hear you felt ghosted. We looked back at the transaction you referenced and it looks as though it closed almost 6 months ago. Due to a surprise in the borrower’s financial history, there was a short delay. Sometimes this happens and the loan officer quickly found a solution so that the sale could still close. He helped us buy our first home, and during the process, he was very patient and provided great help with any of the questions we have, whether it is related to a mortgage loan or just buying a house in general.   I worked with Alex Chu for my mortgage process. So nice so patient. Alex went above and beyond to help us with our purchase. Not pushy at all and made everything in my timing.. buying is stressful and requires more than we could imagine and by the time we were done with everything Alex was more like a super helpful friend. He had a great personality and is a wealth of knowledge. I know he was on my team through and through. Should I purchase again I will work with him again.

  Jim Phillips was a Godsend! I was working with a another mortgage broker for over 4 months and they could not figure out how to present my loans to their Underwriter. I am self employed so I realize that I have to present more documentation which can also be more confusing. Jim's communication style worked very well for me and he was able to get my loan closed within a month after starting. I would highly recommend Jim and Cassandra as they know their stuff!

  I refinanced my house with Brad and Kalvin. They made the process extremely easy. They were very accommodating as I was traveling for work when it came time to sign closing docs. They found a mobile notary and we met up late at night to fit my schedule. I would highly recommend them for their professionalism and the lowest rates in town! Great team and even better people!
