  Unbelievable professionalism and care during our refinance….the third time in ten years. Market and interest rates change and Todd and Mike Burroughs are always on top of it.   My wife and I have worked with Greg Updegrove at Mortgage House of America now for almost ten years. I genuinely can't say enough for how much I trust and appreciate everything Greg has done for our buying/refinancing needs. We've mortgaged two news homes from him and refinanced 4 times (yes, because Greg opened my eyes to a penny saved on my mortgage is ten pennies earned in the stock market). Being an accountant, I rarely trust people with my financial needs but I breath easy every time I reach out to Greg. He's one of the few people in the world who can take a stressful situation and put you at ease. Would highly recommend!

  Todd was a huge help in my closing !As I did not know how to navigate such matters being my first time purchasing a home! He also had the lowest cost and rate compared to other offers, He made himself available at all hours to answer all of our questions. I will use Todd and his company in future dealings!

  We worked with Todd to get a mortgage for our home and refinance a year later. We couldn't be happier with the service we received. When we built, the recommended company tried to raise our closing fees to 11% and we reached out Todd for a second option. He got us to no closing fees with a decent rate. A year later he reached out and got is a lower rate and again no closing fees!!! Can't beat that! I can't say enough good things about this company. We have referred my inlaws and friends and they are always honest. They have told friends they can't help them at the moment because what they had was good. I highly recommend getting a quote and experience their integrity for yourself.

  As first time home buyers, everything is very overwhelming and can be a little confusing. We worked with Greg at Mortgage House of America and he was so wonderful.   I have been a client of Mortgage House of America since 2012 and they have helped me through several refinances and the purchase of a new home in 2018. They have always provided me with great service and operate with integrity. If you're looking for a mortgage broker I'd consider them one of the best in Cincinnati.

  Stay away from this company!!  These people will be very responsive until you lock your rate, and they’ll ghost you until closing.  It took me almost 3 months (early Sep to end of Nov) from rate lock to close.  Also, my closing disclosure was incorrect but these people never corrected it.  Flat out lied that they’ll correct it during recession period…and it NEVER happened.  Now I need to wait ~$3000 until my previous lender sends me for excess fund for 30 days.  Unprofessional, full of excuses.  I strongly do NOT recommend this company.

It is clear there was miscommunication, however all information and communication we provided to the client was done so in truthfulness, made in good faith and with the utmost integrity. There are a lot of third parties with whom we interact to bring loans to closure: lenders, underwriters, title companies, appraisers, lawyers, real estate agents and more. There are issues and matters outside of our control, but we navigate them the best we can. While we have thousands of highly satisfied clients and “raving fans,” we know that even one dissatisfied client is too many and sincerely regret the experience did not rise to the high level of service that we expect from our company. We will learn from this and continue to improve.
