  Was referred here as a first time buyer from a local real estate agent. I have never felt more offended than I did speaking with their agent. He couldn’t bother to give us the time of day- ignoring emails and refusing to return phone calls- but had no problem running our information and sending it through unsecured email without formal consent. Stay far far away.

  The work ethic from this company is despicable and frustrating. If the amount of pressure to complete the mortgages and the amount of procrastination from the employees were shaped into work ethic, this company would be outstanding. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The progress and interest rates seem to always get better when you pressure them and argue with them. It’s disgusting that results only appear when you have to argue with them to put in work and do what they are hired for. Absolutely would not recommend.

  I can't endorse this organization enough. Jeff Sowers was an absolute delight to work with. There are very few that I can say earn the title "Johnny on the spot" and Jeff is one of them. All the questions one may have in financing a home purchase jeff and his team were there to answer during and after business hours. Don't just go to Mortgage America for a mortgage RUN there. Even at 11th hour when my title company completely dropped the ball (do yourself a favor and use the title company Mortgage America refers as I chose not too) Jeff and his team worked through the evening to make sure my deal was "perfect" as promised. This company is a spitting image of impeccable customer service.
