gumbo s2Took a month and 10 days for the old auto loan lender to receive the payoff check. No follow through from my loan officer, no checking in to see after a month if the check had cleared. If I hadn't gotten involved I'd be paying to lenders right now. No call back multiple times from the loan officer OR the supervisor that I asked be involved. As a matter of fact he said he would be handling it himself but still I received calls from the loan officer who I had to bring up to speed myself. Last time I do business with them. So much for customer service. You'd think a local bank would give better service to the members of the community that it represents.

Celso Cruz1Avoid talking to Cinthia not a good customer service. I have checking accounts and loans with other banks and what a difference! Fortunately, I was able to close my account.

Val H2Friendly service... But... Their auto loan program makes no monitary sence. You have to constantly watch out for hidden fees . Coin machine costs money to members? Really? Not making enough? Interest is a bad joke.

Terrible "credit union" it's a bank realistically. your supposed to be a member with a credit union. Here they charge you to talk to a teller. WTF. As soon as I can get there I am closing my account. P.S. mandatory you have $25 in your savings account and if you close before 6 months they take it. Wasn't told that when I signed up. Was supposed to be on e file... Nope been charged $10 a month for the last 3 months even though I've gone in and called and was told the problem had been corrected sir. B.S. avoid this place like the black plague.

Rachel Denison1Was a customer for 5 years and I closed my accounts today. The teller was very rude and never spoke to me the entire time. She handed me my receipt and I had to ask where my money was. If any piece of mail is returned to them, they charge you $10!! The loan officer was also rude and very obviously did not care how long we had been customers, it is ALL about credit scores. Which did not even match the actual scores we have! Poor customer service all the way around at this location. And it is so unfortunate because 5 years ago this place was amazing. Serious on the job training needed now!

Steven Kennedy2I have banked with MCU for over 10 years. Initially, the service was very good but steadily declined to the point where I can no longer use this bank. And buyer beware....My account was hacked at least 6 times; 2 times within the past 4 weeks and what's most irritating is that I get the third degree when I speak to either a real person at the bank or the dispute dept. It's really just lip service but I imagine every bank is that way; the plastic smile. I'm adding a second star in this edit on 01/07/2020 due to the fact that I got 2 calls from 2 people at MCU following the last incident of identity theft. One of them had just read my review and wanted to help. Actually they were both very helpful and relieved both my sense of anxiety and misdirected anger at the bank. In reality, the bank absorbs the monetary loss in these cases although I would prefer the bank not having to absorb any loss due to fraudulent use of a debit card.

Sara Alegre1I use to love this bank not sure if it the same management but the office in Salinas when Liz was there never any problem. Now not only do they not care about customers they make fell uncomfortable a bother I was sitting down waiting for the manager I decided to call customer service when finally she came out to help and instead of helping or listening she said there was nothing she could do about my over draft charges when the money was in the bank so not sure if she knows what she is doing

George Mountjoy4I visited this Credit Union today and had a very good experience (6-17-2014). The only glitch was the ATM was temp. out of service. Once inside a very cheerful and helpful young lady (Naomi) helped me walk through the transaction. A few minutes and I was on my way. Thank you very much!
