  I have been shopping at Mike's for years they are very professional and very fair with pricing, I have purchased TV's, Bikes, Guns, tools etc.. and never had any issues. The owners are very knowledgeable on all of their products that they sell or take in. 5 stars all the way! Keep up the good work Mike's Pawn Shop!

  Mike's Pawn Shop was the first pawn shop I went to in Tallahassee Fla. And I do not see any reason to go to any other. Jake was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. I had an issue with a T.V I had purchased and Jake made my issue disappear. Very polite staff. If your looking for some pawn needs I would definitely tell you stop by Mike's Pawn Shop

  ATTENTION everyone! Please be very careful with this pawn shop. Take photos of all your stuff before you go to this pawn shop. They will switch out your stuff. Make a copy of the sheet they give you before you go back because they are going to keep it. In return they are going to give you this little yellow slip. After contacting several pawn shops. They stated customers are allowed to keep the slip. They are very slick and would never return. The owner thinks that the employees do no wrong but that is untrue. I am going to prove to the owner Mike he is wrong. Beware and very, very careful is all I want you to do. Do under estimate this business.

  We have been in business for 45 years and every once in awhile you get someone who is not all there accuse us of swapping items. We have never done this and never will. Feel free to check our other reviews.

  I have been a customer of Mike's Pawn Shop for more years than I can count. Mike, Mark and their staff have always been super professional and friendly to deal with! Anytime I was in a money pinch and needed help, which was a lot sometimes, they always knew me by name and still do when I come in their shop. I would recommend them to anyone that needs to pawn something, looking for an affordable gift or is in a financial bind where you need to borrow short term against your valuables. Thank you for the great service you continue to give!

  Do not trust "Mike". I willingly pawned a few items well below their value to quickly get rid of some items before a move. I realized I lost my ID in the process, so my bf pawned my items for me. When it was time to payout, he handed me bills folded up tightly, and I left to begin a hunt for my ID. Needless to say, he took advantage of my loss and lack of attention and shorted me on the money he payed out. I started with bottom dollar offers and he ended up stealing from me. I am offended and will never go back. Go to the other pawn shops first. I've looked at the positive reviews about this place, and they seem sketch. They are way too generic to look like they are from real customers. You have been warned.

  I bought my table saw here. It’s decent, but was missing some parts. It was a bit cheaper than retail. They’re not very willing to haggle much and the prices are too high for a pawn shop. I saw a brad nailer there today for more than it was new at harbor freight. The same brad nailer. I was at hf right before. If you’re a student without a vehicle go here. If you can make the drive, Value Pawn on N Monroe has much better deals and the staff is more willing to negotiate. I bought my air compressor and Dewalt drill there. The compressor was 2/3 of retail and they threw in a brand new hose. The drill was 1/6 of retail, I believe simply because it was covered in grout and they had a lot of them in stock. Mike could learn a thing or two from Value Pawn.

  Workers were very friendly. They let me test out the laptop I was buying and had no problem with that at all. :) They were very happy to help. Highly recommended! :) :) :)

  Very friendly staff, as well as Mike the owner who is always there to help with any questions you may have. Knowledgeable, generous, and don't make you feel like other pawn shops do who seem to want to rush you in and out, eager to make a quick buck. Highly recommended A++

  I've pawned stuff at most pawn shops in tallahassee but I never had as good of an experience with the other shops as i do with mike's. Friendly, cool, guys, and are not beating up my pockets with interest fees. Will continue to do business these folks
