  I've been banking here since I was 18 and I love it because the staff usually knows who I am so it's usually pretty quick service. Not a very big banking chain so they can't do CD accounts or any accounts to set up for a minor child that they can't access until they're at least 18 but if you're just looking for a very affordable checking/savings account this is definitely the place to go. You only have to keep $5 in your savings to keep your whole checking/savings account open.

We love making our members happy. In your review though, you also mentioned a couple of things that we'd like to clarify. We do offer share certificates that are similar to CDs from banks. You can read more about them on our website here https://www.mwafcu.org/accounts/iras.shtml We would love to help you add one of those to your account. As for the youth restricted accounts, in general, we do not offer restricted accounts; however, we do offer both Youth Savings accounts and Youth Certificates. We have recently updated some internal procedures on accounts with specific legal circumstances and can reach out to you with information to see if we can assist you with something like this.
