Lisa A1Worst people I’ve ever had to deal with. Customer service is a joke. Their fraud department is an even bigger joke! It’s funny that when asked to speak to a supervisor, they are always out of the office and nobody is available to speak to. I plan on taking my business elsewhere. I encourage others to do the same.

Howard Estes1Worst bank experience in over 50yts. Tried to get business taken care if 3 different times, everytime they want some other info they never talked about before. Taking my business someplace else, I'd encourage others to do the same.. I would leave NEGATIVE 5 STARS but cant!!!!!

Terry Mikel2Every since they have switched from ficu to vibrant it's been nothing but fee fee fee. I left old national to get away from the fees. As soon as I get some things situated I will b moving my checking and savings. The only thing good about this place is the people are nice to me. Also I was lied to on my car loan and didnt realize it till after I signed for it was told a certain interest rate and then I checked it after and it was 1.5% higher than what I was told. My fault for not double checking but a bad business practice.

A merchant refuses to let me return an item that is defective (only exchange, because the item is open!) and Vibrant refuses my chargeback, and refuses to help me. I used my vibrant card to have security, but at this point it would have been better to pay with cash! I stuck with them through the move from 1st Illinois to Vibrant, and now I just get stonewalled when I need help the most. What a joke! I am looking at other banks as far as transferring my loan balance and closing out all my accounts... And no, I won't call, because it always gets you to the same people who couldn't care less if you get helped or not. Particularly LEAH, the head of the fraud department, who's short and curt in emails and never addresses the issues I want. They lost my paperwork twice! TWICE, and a months worth of waiting before they even realized they had lost it at all! I had to call to check up on it twice before they realized they didn't have it, then they called me to redo it over the phone... All that, then they issued my refund, and then TOOK it back a week later. Why issue the refund at all? Caused me to overdraft and everything. I have emails from the item's manufacturer saying I can RETURN it, not EXCHANGE IT. RETURN. I don't want an exchange, I want a return, the merchant won't help me, and Vibrant tells me to get lost. What a waste of time and money, I'll never do business with them again.

Rick Buckley1I din't even want to give them one star! I have been a member for over 20 years. I went if to apply for a loan a couple weeks ago. There was not one person in the loan department. The teller took me into a abandon old office, (felt like a post apocalyptic movie seen) to talk to someone on a computer monitor. Very cold and impersonal from the start to finish. When you call the Danville office number, Someone in Moline IL. answers. Can't even talk to someone local! I feel real bad for the people from the Danville area that lost there jobs when Vibrant made some bad decisions.
Response from the ownerRick, I am so sorry you feel this way! Our Video Banking offices have not replaced any of our workers. We have centralized our call center and lenders to better serve our members. We have a whole team dedicated to answering your call now, where as in the past the branches first priority was the member in front of them in the branch and not phones. Video banking has allowed our members to have instant access to personal bankers, mortgage offices, investment services advisors, our business department and insurance reps. In the past, this was not something we could provide at every branch. Again, Video Banking and a centralized call center did not take away jobs from Danville.
