Theresa Purkat5My former bank was no longer offering the services i needed, kept cutting their hours, and seemed to get all new tellers who weren't very friendly--so after more than 40 years, i switched banks. I usually dont like change, but Shirley and the others at Mid Minnesota have been awesome. I'm so pleased to be with a bank that still offers a variety of services and has convenient hours, as well as great customer service.

Kris Poppler1I made June payment same amount as usual. All sudden late June I get new payment slips and notice of non payment. Checking account shows payment made may 19 and mid MN FCU cashed may 21. Called and told the money was placed into a dead account because it wasn’t the full amount. No one called me to say my payment was not excepted or that there was any problems. Tried for two weeks to get straightened and no one returns calls or helps and they tacked on late fees and I don’t know how to get my money out of dead account.

Kristy J1I have been been overdrafts for a very long time last time I asked to reverse was in Jan 2019 a year ago..every month they got more that half my check in fees..n they make it hard to pull out of it..but being in a small community in desperate need due to this crisis I called today to see if they cld help since my husband can no longer work..they adjust 2...$50. For 2 weeks him n I have have to live off that..n I have bills to pay. I thought being a smaller bank and the fact I never complained bout these fees they take monthly n that I get a very lil lieck of close to $1000 I maybe get $25 n that's ALL they approved today..I'm just sick..not taxes or stimulas coming for 2-3 weeks..I honestly thought they wld do better...Why does a business want to see their customers struggle all I'm asking is for a one-time adjustment during this CRISIS..I DON'T feel they delivered..n now we are going to struggle with $60 for next 2-3 weeks..that means no bills will get paid cuz we need to eat..is this really how a home town bank treats out desperate customer? N like I said I haven't asked them to adjust overdrafts in over a YEAR! This blows my mind . I don't know how my husband and I are going to survive off $60 when my checks are closer to $1000..so that's roughl! I had more fate in this bank especially in a time of crisis..I think they can do better. I've paid them mon5hly without complaints..until now when my husband income is now me nothing..We need every penny to survive.. especially since we won't get stimlus for up to 3 weeks..Bottom line I thought this company was better than this.. especially during these circumstances!! Very disappointed customer!

Bender Rodriguez (Futurama)1Been with the credit union for over 10 years. Never overdrafted except once because their staff lied to me when money would be taken out of my account. Also wont approve a debt consolidation loan because they claim debt js too high yet I can make all my monthly payments on time (early in fact) and more than the minimum amount due. I also had a personal loan from them before where my car was collateral...paid that off early and never missed a payment, but they still denied me. Nobody ever called me to even let me know like the lady who called me asking me information for my loan stated they would. I ended up getting my loan from USAA (thank you to them for believing in me unlike MMFCU). I am researching other banks to take my accounts and business to. A place that values their customers and respects them all together. I would stay away from this place if I were in anyone elses shoes.
