  I've worked with the Colo Mortgage Group for more than 6 years and they are amazing to work with. They have an amazing variety of loan products and they have saved many of my real estate clients who would not have otherwise been able to get the loan that they needed. 5 Star service and great rates for nearly any situation. If you need a loan you need to use the Colo mortgage group!

  I do not write many reviews but Michael Colo's service was so outstanding that I have to share my positive experience. I have gone through several mortgage experiences in the Bay Area and my experience with Michael has been by far the very best I have ever had. The process was so shockingly smooth that I was waiting for the hiccup that would cause unnecessary stress, as I have experienced with past lenders. That hiccup never came. I do not know how he did it but Michael was always available for my calls. Even in case where he went away with family or at a conference, he either answered the phone or got back to me in a really timely manner, or assigned one of his colleagues to make sure he was covered while he was gone. The latter point is really a important one. Michael's support staff is smart, attentive and a perfect compliment to Michael's outstanding service. Furthermore, Michael is just an overall great guy to talk to. Michael gives you the attention that you need while giving you great advise that makes the most sense for your needs and not the advise that will best line his pockets. In the Bay Area's absolutely crazy market, Michael Colo is exactly the type of lender that you need to close on your property,

  Michael was recommended to us by a friend and we couldn't have been happier with his service! His easy going attitude and no pressure sales helped us choose a great loan that was right for our needs.   I worked with Michael Colo Mortgage Group to refinance my home a few months ago. I can't describe how easy the process was compared to my first loan approval with another mortgage company.   I would have to say that you should only use Michael Colo for your mortgage broker if you meet these 2 qualifications. First, you must want to save money on your mortgage, and second, you must want to work with someone who will take great care of you, who will follow up on everything and keep your loan on track, and who is knowledgeable in every aspect of the mortgage industry. I have re financed my home twice with Michael. Thanks to him, I am saving about $600.00 month on my mortgage. Over the life of a 30 year loan, that's over $200,000!!!! I would much rather have this in my pocket instead of the bank's!! Because I am self employed, with a couple of different businesses, my re fi was not standard at all, but Michael and his staff shepherded us through everything, following up on EVERYTHING that we needed, even talking with my CPA on my behalf to expedite things!!! My only regret in writing this review is that there are not more stars to give Michael!!!

  My husband and I have nothing but great things to say about Mike. He was able to get us in a home purchase in under 30 days. It is the only reason we got our offer accepted. Mike was in constant communication, and he played a big role in managing everyone in the process. If not for mike we would not have bought our home. What did surprise me was that his interest rates were lower than what we were quoted from Bank of America. We actually saved a half percent on our interest rate as well. Highly skilled, and highly professional.

  From the first call to the loan funding it was a very smooth sailing! Michael and Carolina guided us through all the steps and details to get quick approval. Answered our the questions very promptly, were willing to work with us after hours. Michael negotiated better rate that was originally anticipated.
