  Unauthorized credit check. Showed up against all 3 sources. I have no idea how they got my information and why they ran an inquiry.

  I did not give them or anyone else permission to run my credit. Yet, on my credit report I see they made an inquiry.

  Definitely one of the better companies to work with. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the tools that they provide to understand credit situations and correct erroneous reporting(s) are among the best in the industry. And Shelli Petersen, the one and only person who gave MFI a one star rating because "they ran her credit and she had no idea who they are," your lack of knowledge is not a reason for you to down rate a company. MFI is primarily a RMCR credit reporting agency. They do not run your credit for sport or to sell off your information to solicitors. You authorized somebody with whom you contracted financial services, like a home loan or lease, to obtain your credit profile. They just used MFI to obtain and compile your tri-merged credit report. Giving MFI a one star rating and a complaint just because you weren't aware that the company with whom you contracted uses a professional credit company to obtain credit report(s) is not be cause for your to issue a poor rating about MFI Credit Solutions.

  Like lot of people mentioned I will say the same I never contacted them for any refinance or new home loan and they did hard inquiry ... how such unethical business is surviving ... huh.

  Yes also going to give one star because I don’t authorize them to run my credit. And I don’t now authorize anyone else either. I am not currently looking to buy a house or anything like wise.
