      Metro Credit Union has really gone downhill over the years. Their new online banking system is difficult to use and we've had so many issues over the last year. Things they've messed up in the last 6 months: 1. Switched banking systems which caused all pre-scheduled mortgage payments to get deleted. I got marked as not paying my mortgage. 2. They charged me a late payment fee. 3. The next month, they pulled money *twice* in one transaction, leaving my account balance dangerously low. 4. Corrected their error and removed the late fee, but this month I discovered they reported a late payment to a credit bureau - which caused an 80 point drop on my credit score. (Even though they had admitted it was an error in their system.) 5. Took 6+ months to process a mortgage refinance application. (We abandoned the application and went elsewhere. We closed within 2 months.) 6. Any messages I've sent through their online web portal get no reply. My outbound message just gets archived by their team. 7. Phone lines are always busy. Expect to be on hold for a long time. The staff at the Framingham branch is friendly and mean well, but I feel like their ability to help is bound by a messy system. Metro's corporate team needs to reevaluate the strengths and weaknesses of their business.

      If I could rate a No star ⭐️ that’s what I would have done, today December 30 I went to the drive-through I was in the drive-through almost 20 minutes waiting I called twice from the drive-through and all they did was shout at me and said it’s only two of us in the building so you have to wait another car came up beside me and they started to help that person before me which was a white person and then I could see that they were playing the race card so I asked them kindly to return my check and my license so I can go and the lady said fine and she return it to me I think that was disrespectful and inappropriate and that’s not no customer service at all worst bank in Framingham😉😫👎

      We have been using this CU for many years. They used to be a good, local bank, with easy access, good terms and friendly service. Near the end of 2020, they came under new management. There was Massive confusion when the transition happened, with difficulty accessing accounts, incorrect postings etc. Several months later, I am discovering a whole new set of fees that came in with the new management. Add to this the difficulty contacting them and I am ready to move on.

      Impossible to setup an online banking account with them. They tell me they can't set it up because my "zip code is incorrect". Representative I spoke with on the phone could not fix this but promised a call back from someone who could. That call never came. I would love to know what part of my zip code they believe is wrong, as they seem to have no issue sending me mail when they want to.

      Possibly one of the worst customer services I have received and I am not saying this because of the experience I am about to describe, but because I have had an account with them and over the years and this specific location has also been rude. First, let me start by saying stay away from a person named Angela Dell Anno. She is belittling and I don't know if this is coincidence or not but every time I call I get hung up on . I spent an entire day trying to talk to someone about a Mass Saves loan which could be a simple solution. My contractor quoted me the wrong amount and instead of adding the amount to my existing loan she wants me to open up a new loan ( I wonder why, she is a loan officer) When I said I wanted to talk to the person I originally did my loan with she responded "I told her you'd be calling" and then I said if I could get her manager's information not to get her in trouble but to better explain the situation because it's easier to explain things over the phone then through email. And she responded " I also told her you'd be calling" this lady is not nice.

      The worst customer service ever! When calling you are on hold forever. Staff is not friendly or helpful. Low/no interest. $25 annual charge for overdraft protection. I sent a wire for a large sum of money, 3 days later I learned the wire was not sent. Closing my Metro account. Go elsewhere!

      The clerks are nice, but not very helpful. If you are a working professional, I do not recommend for you to use this bank. I was trying to get heat loan through this bank and they have now wasted almost a week of my time because they failed to tell me the correct paperwork to bring and filled out my application incorrectly and had to restart the process. However, they are quick when they are taking money from you to start a bank account. Not a bank I would trust to do business with.

      Awesome customer service, decent online software, never had an issue they couldn’t help me out with. Much better (and fewer fees) than any big bank. Unlimited ATM fee reimbursement means I use whatever machine is most convenient whenever I need one and never worry about what they’ll charge me.

      Angela dell anno. Haha. Same experience. The single most inept person I’ve ever dealt with. Avoid metro, and ESPECIALLY car loans at all costs. I used to recommend metro to friends and co-workers. Not anymore. Their service, app, EVERYTHING about them has deteriorated to the point of no return. If you’re thinking about banking with them, read and learn. Then go elsewhere.

      Looking to open a business account... called ahead to ensure someone would be available to help. I entered the doors at 10:09 and was still waiting to be helped at 11:01. Only 2 employees able to assist, one is setting up a trust and the other is helping customers... and I’m still waiting. I have two accounts with this establishment, a checking and a savings. I am planning to pull all funds from this establishment and relocate them.
