      I’ve had a couple of loans through Metro for about a year and a half now. All was good until a couple of months ago when I noticed that Metro Bank was reporting false information to the credit bureau on one of my accounts. I filed a dispute with the credit bureau thinking that surely they’ll correct the info once they see that it is incorrect. To my surprise they actually didn’t change anything at all. After the dispute failed, I contacted them directly and was told “there’s nothing we can do about it”. By this point I’m furious. My account is showing that I have been delinquent on my loan since August and it is now December! My credit score plummeted over this! So this time, I decide to go INSIDE the bank as I make my monthly payment. I requested them to print me a log showing all of the payments that I have made, proving that I have made the payments and when I made the payments. This information was submitted to the credit bureau once again for the third time and I am currently waiting to see if Metro Bank will finally realize their mistake and fix it. All in all I would not recommend getting a loan through this bank. If a bank can’t report information correctly to the credit bureaus then there’s no point in offering loans.

      If you have a disability, I do not recommend Metro Bank in Ashville. Instead of being polite and trying to understand my grandmother, they simply denied her a service- depositing a check. When I went with my grandmother to Metro, their attitude changed. The assistant manager still denied her due to the check having a deceased person on it even with the death certificate, which is understandable. This was not explained to my grandmother at the time of her trying to deposit the check. The manager offered to cash it after he was very unprofessional and rude. I explained to him that if you’re going to do it for one client, you should do it for all. As a former bank employee, I understand that you have to follow policies but this is unacceptable. I believe my grandmother should have received the same customer service that was offered to me. I believe they discriminated due to her disability. I had to take her to my bank, Truist, where they immediately cashed it for her. My grandmother is not a client there, but they even apologized for Metro’s unprofessional behavior.

      I have enjoyed my choice to change from Region's Bank to Metro since the first day. The folks at Metro Bank treat me like I'm the only customer they have, it doesn't matter if I call or visit and all i have are two checking accounts. I have no reason to use another bank, Merto Bank takes really good care of me and my hard earned money. Metro Bank is one of the best decisions I've made when it comes to my money and the way I want to be treated.

      Went to see Drew Goolsby for a home loan. Sent our documents to him and have left several messages over the past month. He never called us back. While we were in his office trying to discuss what was needed for our home purchase, he only wanted to tell us stories about himself or people he new. If you are seriously trying to purchase a home I would NOT recommend Drew Goolsby!

      Friendly folks here at Metro Bank.. Easy Banking, Every once in a while the ATM will break down but they usually have it fixed by the next day when I come back.. I just enjoy banking with Metro Bank they have hired a couple of new faces but I am sure they will turn out to be fabulous too..
