      We have three vehicle loans with them and they keep putting disability insurance on them without our permission. No paperwork was given to us in our folder with loan documents about the disability insurance at the time of the application. Be careful when signing online documents, have them explain everything, and check your statements carefully. All other service is exceptional.

      Very professional and friendly. Ms. Troyelle made buying my first car very easy. She was very helpful and explained everything to me. She made follow-up calls and worked with the car dealer so that there was barely any work for me to do. I recommend this place for any loans that you might need!

      I've banked with the Lafayette and Carencro branches for almost 10 years and they have been amazing!! I highly recommend those locations for all banking needs. Started working in New Iberia so I'm forced to utilize this branch......the last THREE times I've been to the New Iberia location, it has been anything but amazing. It's very sad that now because of geography, I will no longer be a member of Meritus. The caliber of tellers is just unacceptable. New Iberia should send their tellers to train in Lafayette or Carencro.
