      My husband and I have had a terrible experience with MemberSource. The number one thing they need to work on is their online banking system. it is terrible. Truly horrendous. We were constantly locked out of our account no matter how many times we changed our password, cleared our history, cleared cookies, ect. You would think the app would be easier but it's just as bad. Everyone wants their money to be easily accessible at any time of the day. Imagine not being able to access your account every single evening or weekend. Customer service isn't that great either. No matter how many times we would call to fix things it never got better. Always ended up locked out the next day. Their debit cards are also a joke. They RARELY work. Do yourself a favor and find a better credit union.

      There are much better options… do not go to them for a loan, not sure if it’s discrimination or not but they are only approving Excellent credit and someone who has Gold instead of money. The staff could definitely use training on customer service and just being an “human”. I am in the process of closing this account and don’t plan on referring anyone or returning. I have been with them for 10 years but none of that matters here.. I’ll take my loyalty elsewhere. Shop around before banking here… a checking and savings is where it stops here.

      Wow, ridiculous customer retention. Been a Membersource CU customer for 40 years and used them infrequently as of late. Checking, Savings, Credit card over the years. Always paid bills on time. Well apparently they kill off dormant accounts when inactivity without notification. They claim they sent letters in the mail across my accounts which closed at various times. The only thing I received was a checking account statement today with a $5 Dormant Account Fee - who does this!!!! Never once did I get a letter, not a phone call, nothing. Just a fee on a statement. This is customer retention at its finest, really.

      I highly recommend you NEVER use this Credit Union for any Loan. Our loved one died from COVID. They would not let the family pay the loan for our loved one after multiple attempts. They refused to work with the family in any way. We were trying to pay the loan off. They repo’d the car before we even had the probate court date. Our son has no way to get to college now. Their customer service team was very rude and Mrs Brown their collections supervisor was highly rude, judgmental, and disrespectful. Leslie was a wonderful customer service representative but unfortunately she could not help resolve the repo as it was already done. If everyone would have been as kind as her, the car would never had been repo’d and this review would have been positive. A family is grieving the loss of their loved one. Have a heart.

      1st off, i am not a member, i use them as a service branch of my ATL credit union. I have been using this branch for ALL my banking transactions for over 5 years. Before Covid-19, the branch was always clean, had pens to use and was nicely greeted upon walking in. Now with Covid-19, i use the drive thru and they keep the slips stocked outside and always with a pen in the holder. I NEVER saw or witnessed anything bad here from any staff! They are great and always helpful! I am living in Sealy Tx now, but still hold my dealings for when i go into Houston to use this branch for service. Yes, there are plenty places i can go, but if i am getting great service and help when i need, why stop....thanks to all the staff for the years of great service i get!!👍😊 And they move the lines pretty fast, that's what i really like!!

      There was a system migration this past weekend. The message said that the app would be available on 07/11 @ 7am. It's 9:19 am and I still can't get. I couldn't check my balance nor transfer money.

      We apologize for the inconvenience and that we did not meet your expectations. The service providers on these services weren't quite able to meet the 7am CST timeline set. The mobile banking application was available at 7:12am. The voice audio response system was available at 7:18am. The home banking system through our website was available at 9:17am.

      I had an amazing Shared Branch transaction today with operator 188. She's the nicest banker I've ever met. Additionally, service was fast, they pay attention to detail, there's plenty of up front parking, clean facilities, and am ATM inside as well as outside. Great experience!! I'd give it a million stars if I could.

      -The competence of this branch is horrible. I have been out of the country on multiple occasions and each time I have told them to leave my credit and debit card open for a certain date thus allowing me to make purchases abroad. Just this last time I was STUCK out because my card was being declined... This was before the date I had requested. -Outdated branches- Cant make deposits in the the ATM. Out of the two known Houston locations only one has an accessible ATM. What is the point of Chip card technology- If I have to alert the branch each time I leave the country? Even when fraud detection calls. I'm still left without a usable card! -Office hours and call center hours- 9am-6pm What about when there is an issue? I suggest to find an update CU with up to date accessibility and staff.

      I had very little money in my account and caught a lyft there to deposit cash since I'm a server and get tips. It was supposed to be drive thru only and one of the ladies at the front desk allowed me to go ahead and make the transaction. I don't even bank here I'm with first service credit union but they definitely made the experience simple and easy for me!

      Banking experience is TERRIBLE! In person, over the phone, or even drive thru. COLLECTION DEPARTMENT, please before you call a customer specially during this pandemic please make sure to check your clients bank history, payment history & please answer OR return your clients calls. I'm glad I'm always on time with my payments and I'm glad I know how to deal with my finances. I was getting charged late fees and other penalties when I've never ever been late on my payments. I was able to resolve the problem after 1 week, yes! It took me a week because the representative who called me never returned my calls. I usually recommend my clients to join this credit union, not anymore!
