  Not being first time home buyer I have done quite extensive research while looking for financing and I can say with confidence that only boutique shop like Medford can get you best deal out there. Big guys just don't care anymore about small client, even though they will annoy you will endless followup calls and emails. I have been extremely pleased with the level of professionalism and effectiveness Dan has handled my request. Medford has given me the best rate on the market which was backed up by fast approval. If you are a serious shopper, get your quotes from big lenders and then go to Medford - you are in for a pleasant surprise!

  First of all I would like to thank Medford Mortgage for providing excellent support and Guidance throughout the process. Dan Trump was my primary contact and he was very thorough from the beginning and had a smooth closing. Even the Realtors and the Title Agents were very very surprised to know that it was out first home. We had a few hiccups in the process mostly my fault but we did not change the settlement date and were able to close as planned. Once again thanks a lot Dan/Coleen for your guidance and help.

  I worked with Ted Trump for my first home mortgage. Ted was extremely helpful, transparent with all the fees, very responsive in guiding me through the process, and delivered as per his promised schedule. My advise to anyone looking for a mortgage is to get the pre-approval from anyone who does not charge upfront fees including Medford, but once you have an accepted offer in writing, please get in touch with Medford to get a quote to lock in the rates, points and other closing costs. If you have provided Medford with required documents before hand (other than the accepted offer letter), the lock in rate quote should be provided by them within an hour. You can compare this with other rate quotes and go with the best one. You can consider APR, fees, points, rate lock in period etc in deciding the best quote. In my case, Medford's quote was the best, but was worried about their ability to follow through and close. In the end I was glad, I went with Medford as they delivered as per their lock in rate quote and closed on schedule. Medford is a mortgage broker and they can offer the best rates available from multiple underwriters. They provided me with a direct contact person until closing who answered all my questions, provided me with regular status updates on the approval process and followed up with me promptly for any additional documentation that were needed by the underwriter. If you are looking for a mortgage, please do not decide to lock-in or pay upfront fees with anyone else until you get a quote from Medford.
