  Sherri Dyer is AMAZING at what she does! She was able to look at my circumstances and needs and quickly come up with the best plan of action for my mortgage. Sherri found me the lowest possible interest rate and discussed all the options and types of loans with me so I could choose the one that best suited my needs. She was extremely helpful, responsive, and caring. It is clearly a passion of hers to make sure people feel positive and supported when making such a huge commitment. With Thanksgiving, Christmas, and pending New Years in the way of a timely closing, Sherri was able to find which companies would be helpful and responsive and we were able to fit everything in within the time frame we had hoped for. Outstanding service and an awesome, helpful, caring attitude. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

The mortgage rate that she locked in for us was just as low as any bigger name mortgage company could provide. The fact that she's local to our community allowed us to feel united in the common cause of financing a home in this beautiful place. She was always quick to respond to our questions, very patient, and most of all very calming.   I work for a small non profit, whose Treasurer is a volunteer. When it came time to approve my mortgage, we discovered several payroll errors which took time and outside professional accounting help to resolve. These errors would have cost me my house, had Sherri not been unfailingly willing to go beyond the extra mile with me to believe what I told her was happening AND intercede on my behalf.   I wish I could give more than five stars to MDI Mortgage. Sherri at MDI was the best person I could ask for to help us secure a mortgage. When we decided to move from Florida to Maine I knew it was crucial to work with a team of people who were looking out for our best interest. Due to Covid, everything had to be done virturally, which meant, we would rely a lot on others so there was no room for error in the people we relied upon. Plus, we hadn't bought a house since 2001 and felt a bit out of our comfort zone. After doing some research, I called Sherri Dyer at MDI Mortgage. She was the first person I had spoken to in Maine, and let me tell you, Maine should adopt her as their spokeswoman. She was professional, very knowledgeable and personable. I came away from that conversation feeling good about our decision to move to Maine and having Sherri as a partner in this new adventure. Sherri helped us find the perfect loan, walked us through every step and stayed on top of the entire process. We had no hiccups, everything went smoothly.
